A NEED TO OPEN UP OUR HEARTS


We live in turbulent
Fearful times=Our faith
Is TESTED
On a daily basis


There are scandals
There is secularism
There is violence and we
All FACE personal tragedies
For a variety of reasons


SOMETIMES=it can be
Hard to BELIEVE
That there is a GOOD GOD
Watching over us=and his CHURCH
In this world


“........be like a WISE MAN
Who built his house
On rock” Matthew 7:24


MANY in this world
Have REJECTED God=they have
Been WOUNDED by the TRAGEDIES
Of this world=and they are angry


But we NEED to be
OPEN TO HEALING=
We have a need
TO OPEN UP OUR HEARTS
And listen to God


We need to be
OPEN to Jesus=and his words
And the WORDS
Of the Father
In this world


God can HEAL US-
Jesus can heal us


“I said='Have mercy
On me Lord=
HEAL ME for I have sinned
Against you'” Psalm 41:4


“HEAL the sick
Raise the dead=
Cleanse those


Who have leprosy
Drive out demons




Freely you have received-
Freely give” Matthew 10:8


“One day
Jesus was teaching


And Pharisees and teachers
Of the law
Were sitting there


They had come
From every village
Of Galilee
And from Judea
And Jerusalem


And the power
Of the Lord
Was with Jesus
To HEAL THE SICK” Luke 5:17


Remain OPEN to Jesus=
There is a need
To KEEP OUR HEARTS
OPEN to the Lord


A need for us=even
In today's world=to BELIEVE
God and Jesus can HEAL US


We are all WOUNDED
In this world=
Jesus is the ROCK
On which OUR FAITH
Can be built


“Be on your guard
Stand firm
IN THE FAITH


Be courageous=be strong
Do everything in LOVE” 1 Corinthians 16:17


Yes= there is a need
TO KEEP OUR HEARTS OPEN
To the WORDS and DEEDS of Jesus


So that OUR FAITH
May persevere=through
The troubles of life


In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our ever FAITHFUL GOD
