HER GENTLE=PATIENT=EXAMPLE
(OUR MODEL=AS A DISCIPLE)
Of Course=We know=The Holy Father God=Is the Father God=and
we
KNOW=Jesus is our SAVIOR AND REDEEMER=But today we CELEBRATE
Mary=as THE MOTHER of the Church=The Mother of every SINGLE
one of us=
She was Jesus’ FIRST Disciple=and his Last=Just before he
died=Being
PRESENT at the Crucifixion=and his death
“……..Behold your Mother”
John 19:27
Mary was GENTLE=She was PATIENT=She was the faithful EXAMPLE=Of
a
Human being=For us all=And one of Jesus’ last acts=Was to
give HIS MOTHER=
To the disciple John=Mary=OUR MODEL=as a Disciple=”When
Jesus=Saw his MOTHER=
There=and the DISCIPLE=whom he loved=standing nearby=He said
to her=
‘Woman here is your Son’=and to the disciple=’Here is your
MOTHER’=From that
Time on=THIS disciple=Took her into his home”
John 19:26-27
Mary=OUR MODEL=as Jesus’ disciple=Mary our mother=and
the=MOTHER of
Us all
DOING this=Jesus gave us Mary=His Mother=AS THE EXAMPLE=to
all believers
And followers=”The apostles=Performed many signs and
wonders=among the people=
And all the BELIEVERS=Used to meet together=In Solomon’s
Colonnade” Acts 5:12
“ALL THE BELIEVERS=Were one in heart and mind=No one
claimed=that ANY
Of their possessions=were their own”
Acts 4:32
“Show proper respect=to everyone=Love the FAMILY OF
BELIEVERS=Fear God=
And honor the emperor”
1 Timothy 2:17
In EVERYTHING=Mary said and did=Mary MODELED the holiness=We
are all Called
To do=She BIRTHED Jesus =into a world=Crying our for=Love
and mercy=and Jesus
Brought that love and mercy=INTO a hurting world=Mary’s
unconditional “YES”=to
God’s plan=Teaches us=How to put the WILL of God=Into our
own lives=For she did
It FIRST
Like Jesus= CARRIED on the love=of the Holy Father God=and
the love and MERCY
Of his MOTHER Mary=We
must follow=THE EXAMPLE=of the beloved disciple John =
WHO sat at the feet Of Mary=and LEARNED her gentle=her
patient=and HER FAITH-
FILLED EXAMPLE=If she=CAN say yes=to God’s PLAN=We can too=MARY=the
disciple
Of HER SON!
“Take my yoke upon you=and LEARN from me=For I am GENTLE and
humble=In heart=
For you will =Find rest for your souls”

Dear Mary=Mother of our SAVIOR=Jesus the Lord=Please pray
for us=That we may be
FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS=Of Jesus and you=and LIVE
gentle=patient=and FAITHFUL LIVES=
For you=Our dear Mary=were the FIRST and last Disciple=and
are OUR MODEL
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever
loving=and
FOREVER FAITHFUL=Holy Father God!

SHEPHERD TO US ALL
God loves his children
He will
Go to the ends of the earth
For you
No matter how far
Lost sheep
Where have you gone

Is it alcohol-money-drugs-or sex
It doesn’t really matter
There is still hope for you
If you believe in God
God loves his children
He never gives up on them
He is just waiting
For you to return to him
With an open heart
