WHEN DISCOURAGEMENT OVERWHELMS US=

(Dear Lord=Please SHOW US=the WAY)

 

This is a VERY DIFFICULT WORLD=to live in=and it is a very

Easy world=To get DISCOURAGED IN=We get discouraged When we=

BECOME AFRAID=and we get AFRAID=for any number of reasons=”Therefore

Since through God’s mercy=We have this ministry=We do NOT BECOME

DISCOURAGED=or lose heart”                                                                                  1 Corinthians 4:1

 

We can BECOME DISCOURAGED=When our health isn’t going IN the=

Right direction=When we are undergoing financial difficulties=Or when our

PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS=are not going our way=Or any of a bunch of

OTHER Things=are not going our way=But one thing is COMMON=In all of

This=and that is=When our FEARS=are getting the BEST OF US=but don’t

Let DISCOURAGEMENT=and fear get the BEST of you=FIND HOPE in God=Even

When your FAITH=is small=and you are feeling discouraged

 

“Yes my soul=Find rest in God=MY HOPE comes from him”                                      Psalm 62:5

“……..The Lord delights=In those=who fear him=Who put THEIR HOPE=in his

UNFAILING LOVE”                                                                                                                   Psalm 147:11

“……..But those=WHO HOPE=In the Lord=Will renew their strength=They will

Soar on wings like eagles==They will run=and not grow weary=They will walk and=

Not be faint”                                                                                                                                           Isaiah 40:31

 

Let us face it=Discouragement Can OVERWHELM YOU=US=It can bring us down=

It can THREATEN=to take our hope away=or at least=MAKE our faith very small=We

Become AFRAID=of suffering like Jesus suffered=We become afraid of PHYSICAL=

Spiritual and Emotional challenges=WE NEGLECT to remember=On how our Holy

Father God=and Jesus=have bailed us out=COUNTLESS of other times=Discouragement

HAPPENS==when we LET our fears and anxiety=overtake our FAITH=Don’t let

Discouragement overwhelm you=There is=always HOPE in our Lord!

“If only for this life=We HAVE HOPE in Christ=We are of all people=

Most to be Pitied”                                                                                                                            1 Corinthians 15:19

“Not only so=But we also GLORY in our sufferings=Because we know=That suffering

Produces perseverance=Perseverance=Character=and character=HOPE=And HOPE=

Does mot put us to shame=Because GOD’S LOVE=has been poured out=Into our hearts=

Through the Holy Spirit=who has been given to us”                                                                  Romans 5:3-5

“We have this HOPE=as an anchor=for the soul=firm and secure=It enters the inner

Sanctuary=Behind the curtain”                                                                                                          Hebrews 6:19

 

Dear Lord=WE PRAY=When fear=anxiety=and DISCOURAGEMENT=are getting the

BEST OF US=and our FAITH=Is getting weak and small=that you Lord=and YOUR FATHER=

SHOW US THE WAY!

 

Show us=That through YOUR HOPE=and GOD’S GRACE=that there is=always a SECOND

CHANCE=For even when=We are DOUBTING OURSELVES=Our Holy Father God and our Jesus=

As well as the SPIRIT OF GOD=Believe in us=and that there is always=A WAY OUT=

“Jesus answered’=’I AM THE WAY=the truth and the LIFE=No one comes to the Father=

Except through me’”                                                                                                                                John 14:6

 

Dear LORD=Please remind us=EVEN in times of DISCOURAGEMENT=and when our

FAITH seems small=That you are the way=and that there=IS ALWAYS HOPE=If we

Believe in you!

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=Of OUR HOLY FATHER GOD=who are the HOPE

And the ONLY WAY!
