God gave us five senses

One is to hear

The word of God

 

We hear the whistle of the train

We hear the vroom the vroom

Of the carpet cleaner

 

Are we hearing

The still small voices of a child

 

We hear the squeak squeaking

Of the porch swing

We hear the chirp chirp chirping

As the birds go flying by

 

Are we hearing

The still small voices of a child

 

Are we hearing God’s word

Are we hearing

The still small choices of a child
