IF we are called to be imitators of Christ-and we are-albeit on a MUCH smaller scale-we are called

to LOVE OUR ENEMIES



I FIND this ONE of Jesus' most difficult teachings-as I am sure MOST OF US DO



"LOVE YOU ENEMIES...be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect"   Matthew 5:44, 48



TO DO THIS-we have to admit to ourselves that we are NOT PERFECT-and try to lay MERCY on others

INSTEAD of judgment-ONLY by doing this-can we EXPECT our GOD to be MERCIFUL with us



it is a GREAT DAY to be ALIVE! in GOD'S MERCIFUL LOVE for us

LOVE YOU ALL

THE GREATEST COMPLIMENT





The greatest compliment

That we can give another human being

Is to tell them

That they are

An imitator of Christ

Albeit on a smaller scale





So how can we be

How will we be

An imitation of Christ

In today’s world





Be perfect in love

For every other human being





Be an imitator of Christ





Be perfect in forgiveness

For every other human being





Be an imitator of Christ





Be like Saint Francis of Assisi






Clothe the naked

Feed the poor

House the homeless





Be an imitator

Of Christ





Be an imitator

Of Saint Francis

Be perfect in love

For the lost and forlorn





Be perfect in kindness

For every other human being





Be an imitator of Christ





And though

We may not be perfection

As long as

We try

To do what we can do





Maybe someday---someway

Someone will say,





“I see Christ in you

You are an imitation of Christ”
