CALLED BY GOD Do you feel CALLED by God Do you feel SPIRITUALLY ALIVE WELL I have some news For you You are I am We are ALL CALLED by God “The Lord called You and me From OUR mother’s womb And he gave us OUR NAME” Isaiah 49:1 So there You have it We were ALL called At birth I wonder HOW MANY of us Have a sense Of being CALLED by God I do I think I ALWAYS HAVE But I know FOR SURE Since my death bed PROMISE In 1977 “To LIVE for my family-friends And ALL PEOPLE every where” I know-at times I have FELT Like it was a curse MY CROSS In this life But OVER the years I have come To BELIEVE That my promise IS the greatest BLESSING That one could ever have It gave me A PURPOSE In life It has KEPT me sane Through ALL the sorrows And setbacks in life It has HELPED me To REALIZE My life is a BLESSING My life has PURPOSE I have been CALLED BY GOD As you have been ALL our lives HAVE PURPOSE “MANY are the plans In a person’s heart But it is the LORD’S PURPOSE That PREVAILS” Proverbs 19:21 “And we KNOW That in ALL things GOD WORKS For those who love him Who have been CALLED According to his PURPOSE” Romans 8:28 So what do you want To say to God About your life To others ABOUT GOD Dear Lord-WE PRAY: HELP US to know That we have BEEN CALLED By you-and in YOUR NAME Help us to find The WORDS we need To say To PROCLAIM The word of God In this the 21st century And help us to KNOW That this life-the CALLING by you Is the GREATEST BLESSING A man or woman Could ever RECEIVE We HONOR you in birth We HONOR you in death And we say THANK YOU LORD For this CALLING WE LOVE YOU And PROCLAIM your love To ALL of mankind WE HAVE BEEN CALLED Robert P.
