THE DEPTH OF LOVE GOD HAS FOR YOU Do you ever stop And think How much God Really loves you He loves you So much That he GAVE UP His only SON for you “For God So LOVED the world That he gave His one and only Son That whoever BELIEVES In him Shall NOT perish But have eternal life” John 3:16 Probably one of The most talked about Scriptural passages of the bible And he did not Give up his Son To condemn the world But he gave up his Son To SAVE the world Because he loves you (and me) “For God did not send His Son Into the world To condemn the world But that the world Might be saved Through him” John 3:17 The cross REVEALS THE DEPTH OF LOVE That God and Jesus Has for you- For me-for us Jesus FORGAVE us From the cross His instrument of death Jesus said, “Father forgive them For they do not know What they are doing” Luke 23:34 And Jesus' FORGIVENESS EXTENDS to us today And because none of us Really know what we Are doing We need to extend That forgiveness TO EACH OTHER “If you forgive other people When they sin Against you Your heavenly father Will forgive you” Matthew 6:14 The DEPHTH OF LOVE God has for you- For me-for us It is hard To UNDERSTAND Such a depth of LOVE But God is love And this is what The cross reveals to us “GREATER LOVE Has no one than this To lay down ONE'S LIFE For one's friends” John 15:13 And that is what we are- To Jesus-HIS FRIENDS (Each and every one of us) And he gave up His life For all of us IF LOVE is The NATURE of God And it is It will constantly SHINE on us No matter what we do Don't ever Close your eyes To the shining power Of God's love It will TRANSFORM YOU If you let it Dear Lord-the cross REVEALS the depth of LOVE You have for us And may I/may WE GIVE OUR LOVE to others For all-are our friends Robert P.
