OUR HOME IS IN GOD

OUR HOME IS IN GOD We have an earthly home The place where We spend most of our time And the place Where we lay our head At night This home is usually temporary As we move From time to time But we have a PERMANENT HOME too And that home is in God And it lasts-FOREVER-and ever “You are no longer strangers Or sojourners-but ...members Of the HOUSEHOLD OF GOD........” Ephesians 2:19 The above line was addressed To the GENTILES A line of inclusion Letting them know That they were not excluded Just because they are not Jews And I think It is important To let ALL PEOPLE today KNOW That they belong To the HOME OF GOD If they just BELIEVE Believe in love Believe in his forgiveness Believe in his kindness And-believe-also-in Jesus- HIS SON=the SON of God “I rejoiced With those who said to me: 'Let us go to The house of the Lord'” Psalm 122:1 “Is it not written: 'My house will be called A house of prayer FOR ALL NATIONS'” Mark 11:17 Our houses will be called homes HOMES for God Homes for prayer OUR HOME is in the Lord our God One of the great lines Of the GOSPEL Of the new testament Is found in John 15 “REMAIN in me As I remain in you No branch can bear fruit By itself It must remain in the vine NEITHER can you bear fruit Unless you REMAIN IN ME” John 15:4 OUR HOME is in God And we are his branches ALL good things stem from him This earth=is our TEMPORARY home Where all kinds of crazy And bad things can happen to us Not so-if-we-REST Under the PROTECTION of God's LOVE Nothing can permanently damage us For our home is IN GOD And he is our protection “You are my hiding place You will PROTECT ME From trouble And surround me WITH SONGS of deliverance” Psalm 32:7 Dear Lord HELP US to know That we are NEVER really strangers That our home Is ALWAYS in you THAT OUR HOME IS ALWAYS IN GOD Robert P.
