BLESSED=WITH COURAGE

BLESSED-WITH COURAGE


Jesus was a man of COURAGE=
He ALWAYS spoke up- for-
The UNDERPRIVILEGED


HEALED the sick-and-
Helped the poor


He spoke up-ALL the way-
Down to the
Point of his death


“BLESSED are you
When they insult you
And persecute you


And utter EVERY kind of word
Against you falsely
Because of me” Matthew 5:11


Because we ARE HIS-
And we are his FOLLOWERS-
He blesses us with this STRENGTH too


To help the poor
To VISIT the sick and the AGED
And GIVE words of encouragement-
To HELP those who need
To HEAR a good word


We Are:
BLESSED with COURAGE


Courage-HOPE


“.........
So your SERVANT-
Has found courage
To PRAY this prayer
To you


Sovereign Lord-you are GOD!
Your covenant is trustworthy


And you have PROMISED
These good things
To your servant” 2 Samuel 27-28


“........
Immediately-he spoke to them
And said:
'TAKE COURAGE-it is I-
DON'T be afraid'” Mark 6:50


“So KEEP up your COURAGE-men-
For I have FAITH
In God


That it will HAPPEN
Just as he told you
…......” Acts 27:25


Today=US=his modern day apostles
And disciples-
We are


CALLED to act and speak
For the Lord


We are to be COMPASSIONATE-
And thoughtful
For OTHERS-
Just the SAME way
The Lord is to us


We are to be ADVOCATES
For those who cannot-
Act and speak for themselves


The unborn-the POOR-and the sick


We are to LIVE with COURAGE
To be BLESSINGS for them
The same way the Lord
IS TO US

BLESSED are those
Who take refuge in him” Psalm 2:12


“BLESSED are those
Who LISTEN to me


Watching daily at my doors-
WAITING at my doorway” Proverbs 8:34


YES!-we are BLESSINGS
Of the Lord
And we are CALLED


To SPEAK up and act
For the poor and the disadvantaged


We are to EXPLAIN the
CHURCH'S teachings with love and courage
JUST as the Lord did


And if we are
Persecuted ad slandered for it
SO BE IT


THE LORD did it for us
WE can do it FOR HIM


THANK YOU Lord for the COURAGE
That you give us


And thank you for OUR BLESSINGS
Of yesterday-now-tomorrow-and ALWAYS
