RECOGNIZING WOMEN OF FAITH


We ALL have women
Who have TOUCHED our life
WOMEN who have been party RESPONSIBLE
For our SUCCESS in life


Jesus was NO DIFFERENT=he had his
Mother=he had MARY MAGDALENE=and he
HAD many women FOLLOWERS


“ACCOMPANYING him were the TWELVE=and
SOME WOMEN...........” Luke 8:1-2


It is REMARKABLE that almost 2,000
Years ago=women had such a PROMINENT ROLE


Jesus was EXTREMELY close to his mother-and-
To Mary Magdalene and had many
OTHER women followers


TODAY'S gospel mention SOME by name=
“The twelve were with him
And also some women
Who had been CURED
Of evil spirits and diseases:


Mary(called Magdalene)=from whom
Seven demons had come out


Joanna the wife of Chuza=the manager
Of Herod's household=Susanna=
And many others


These women were HELPING to
SUPPORT them
Out of their own means” Luke 8:2-3


And I have had MANY women who
Have SUPPORTED me in FAITH
And who have BELIEVED in me-and
MY MISSION for my life


My own mom who ONCE said
WHEN I said=
“No son=ever loved their mother more”
She said=”MAYBE JESUS”


And I have had many other women=who=
Have SUPPORTED me=
My sisters=Terri and Mary=My aunts Stella-Karen and Betty=
And friends like Diane-Lin-Cheryl-and Lori=just to
NAME a few=and the list could go on and on


RECOGNIZING the women of my life
Recognizing=THE WOMEN OF FAITH


Jesus had a SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP
With his mother=his first follower=
And she REQUESTED his first miracle


“WHEN the wine was gone=Jesus' mother
Said to him-
'They have NO MORE WINE'


'Woman-why do you involve me?'
Jesus replied-
'My HOUR has NOT yet come'” John 2:3-4


But he came THROUGH with the
Wine for the wedding and HIS MOM


Because she LOVED him
Because she had FAITH in him


And of course=Mary Magdalene=
HIS BEST FRIEND


“Mary Magdalene and the other Mary
Went to LOOK at the tomb” Matthew 28:1


“The ANGEL said to the women
'Do NOT be afraid=
For I know that you
Are LOOKING for Jesus


He was crucified-
He is NOT HERE
He has RISEN
Just as he said


'COME and see=the place
WHERE he lay=then go
And TELL his disciples.........'” Matthew 28:5-7


RECOGNIZING the women of FAITH
Recognizing OUR BEST FRIENDS


MANY of the MOST influential people
In our lives=in MY LIFE
Have been women


My mother-my sisters-my cousins-
And SOME of my very BEST FRIENDS


From the TIME OF Jesus-
Until now-
WOMEN have played a CRITICAL ROLE
In our development-
And the BIBLE STORY


Let us RECOGNIZE them today=
And let us be GRATEFUL
For these VALIANT WOMEN


Let us offer PRAYERS for them=
And WORDS of thanks and PRAISE
For our DEVELOPMENT


In the name of Jesus=the women of HIS LIFE=
And his MOST HEAVENLY FATHER
