HE CALLS US BY NAME!

HE CALS US BY NAME!


Mary Magdalene was Jesus' BEST FRIEND=
He KNEW her intimately=and she was the
FIRST PERSON he APPEARED to
FOLLOWING the RESUREECTION


She was the APOSTLE
To the apostles


He CALLED her by name=as he
CALLS each of us BY NAME


“Jesus said to her='Woman-
WHY are you weeping? Whom are
You looking for?'


She thought it
Was the gardener and
Said to him=


'Sir=if you
CARRIED him away


Tell me where
You laid him
And I will take him'


Jesus said to her
'Mary!'


She TURNED and said to him
In Hebrew='Rabboni'...............” John 20:15-16


Mary was desperately trying
To FIND Jesus and his missing body=
She was HEARTBROKEN!


Finally she RECOGNIZES him
By the SOUND of his voice=
CALLING her name


And in today's time
We recognize him
When he calls us
BY NAME


We are
His INTIMATE FRIENDS too


He call us by name


“Those who know your name
TRUST in you


For you Lord
Have never forsaken
Those who SEEK YOU” Psalm 9:10


“The name of the RIGHTEOUS
Is used in BLESSINGS


But the name
Of the wicked will rot” Proverbs 10:7


“And everyone
Who CALLS on the name
Of the Lord


WILL BE SAVED” Acts 2:21


I BELIEVE Jesus calls
EACH of us by name too=
Just as he called=”MARY”
After that disastrous event
Some 2,000 years ago


He REVEALS his deep LOVING
PRESENCE to us=and when he
CALS US=we will hear him


Just as Mary HEARD him
ALL those years ago


Dear Lord=Dear Jesus=please
KEEP our ears=our eyes=
And our hearts OPEN
To all the WAYS you
Call us by name


“The LORD is near to
All who CALL on him


To all
Who CALLS on him in TRUTH” Psalm 145:18


“Before they call
I will ANSWER


While they are still speaking
I WILL HEAR” Isaiah 65:24


Dear Lord=Mary Magdalene
Was your BEST FRIEND


You CALLED her by name=
Help US to REALIZE
That you LOVE US TOO


And that you call
ALL of us INTIMATELY by name
And IN LOVE TOO


HE CALLS US BY NAME
