INTEGRITY CANNOT BE BOUGHT!

INTEGRITY CANNOT BE BOUGHT!


The news was SPREADING=
The body of this man Jesus
Was no longer
WHERE it was entombed


Maybe it was true
Maybe this man Jesus
Did RISE from the dead


An INCONVENIENT TRUTH


“And if this
Gets to the EARS of
The governor


We will SATISFY him
And keep you OUT OF TROUBLE” Matthew 28:14


Jesus did indeed
RAISE from the dead
But this TURN of events


Could UNDERMINE the reputation
Of the chief priests and elders


IF this story got out
THEIR INFLUENCE
Could be compromised


An inconvenient truth=
INTEGRITY CANNOT BE BOUGHT


So they CONSPIRED
To change the story


So they GAVE the guards
A large SUM of money
And TOLD the guards to say


His DISCIPLES CAME during
The night and STOLE
The body


But=
INTEGRITY CANNOT BE BOUGHT!


“May INTEGRITY
And uprightness protect me


Because my HOPE=Lord=
Is in you” Psalm 25:21


“The INTEGRITY
Of the upright
Guides them


But the unfaithful
Are destroyed
By their DUPLICITY” Proverbs 11:3


“Teacher'=they said=
'We know
That you are a man


Of INTEGRITY
And that you
TEACH the way


Of God
In ACCORDANCE
With the truth...............'” Matthew 22:16


INSTEAD of embracing
The UNFOLDING MIRACLE


They tampered with the truth
TRYING to avoid embarrassment


An inconvenient truth=
INTEGRITY=cannot be bought


Or like my mom
USED to say=


“The truth is the TRUTH=and
A thousand BANDS of angels
CANNOT CHANGE IT”


“The one
Whose walk is blameless


Who does
What is righteous
Who SPEAKS the TRUTH
From their HEART” Psalm 15:2


The chief priest and LEADERS
Were trying to do
What we CALL damage control


To AVOID embarrassment
They were trying
To SAVE FACE


But the COST
Was so steep


INTEGRITY=CANNOT
BE BOUGHT!


Dear Lord=always
HELP US to choose the truth
To LOVE the truth=and=
To WALK IN THE TRUTH


For INTEGRITY CANNOT BE BOUGHT
