God comes to me
In the innocence
Of a newborn baby
God comes to me
In the innocence of a child
God comes to me
Does he come to you

In a warm sweet smile
God comes to me
In the kindness of a stranger
God comes to me
Does he come to you

When someone
Takes time to listen
God comes to me
In a birthday card
God comes to me
All the time
In what ways you can’t imagine
Don’t you want
To join the club
God comes to me
Has he come to you
Perhaps he has
And you just
Weren’t listening
