THE JOURNEY
The journey
Is long
The journey
Is never-ending
The journey
To find God
Is mind altering
Is mind bending
The journey
Takes you to places
That
You don’t really want to go
The journey
Reveals to you
Parts of your self
That
You don’t really
Want to know
But through it all
God continues to care
Through it all
God continues
To be fair
Because
God loves you
At all times
And if you keep searching
He’ll work with you
Until at times
You feel sublime
For me
The search
Has carried with it
Much pain
Both physical and emotional
But for every loss
God has given me
A little gain
The journey
Is long
The journey
Is never-ending
The journey
To find God
Is mind altering
It is
Mind bending
But please
Do not give up
On your journey
Or on yourself
Your journey
It is well worth it
