feast day of Saint Maria Goretti
A 12-year
old girl
Who
preferred death to dishonor
She is a
model for chastity
And the
Christian life
She died
in 1902
And was
canonized in 1950
May she be
with all children in spirit
If
something bad is happening to them
In today’s
world
“Yet to ALL who received him
To those who believed in his name
He gave the right to become CHILDREN OF GOD
Children born NOT of natural
descent
NOR of human decision or a
husband’s will
BUT BORN OF GOD”
