FORGIVENESS

I have forgiven you

Have you forgiven me

Have you forgiven me

For any slights

I may have done to you

Real or imagined

I have forgiven you

Have you forgiven me

I have forgiven you

Because all I see are actions

I don’t know

What is in your heart

I have forgiven you

Have you forgiven me

Have we forgiven each other

I hope so

Because that might be

What it will take

In order for us

To make it to heaven

I have forgiven you
