ARE you deaf? Are you closed off to the WORD OF GOD? Jesus came and OPENED a new world for the deaf-JESUS was FULL OF COMPASSION-he not only made the deaf able to hear-but he made it so they could HEAR the WORD of GOD-and TRANSFORM themselves-it was NOT just a physical gift-but a NEW AWARENESS to the spiritual side of their lives


SPIRITUAL DEAFNESS reveals itself in MANY different ways-but the CURE is always the same-getting your mind off of yourself-and FOCUS on BEING KIND AND COMPASSIONATE to others-focus on loving-forgiving-and BEING KIND to others=it is surprising HOW LIBERATING this can be
and JESUS taught us this 2,000 years ago-IF only we would LEARN to open up our ears


Jesus' teachings and the INSIGHTS FROM the bible have been INDISPENSABLE to me on my spiritual journey-HELPING me to HEAR AND LEARN-what I never could by myself-GOD USES many people and many ways to HEAL our spiritual deafness-DEAR LORD-we PRAY that we are OPEN to them


it is A GREAT DAY to be ALIVE in GOD'S LOVE for us-and a great day to be OPEN to the HEALING POWER of God

Bob Hope—the famous comedian
Was once asked by a woman
In an airport,


“Can you say something funny?”


“No I can’t,” Mr. Hope responded
“I don’t have my funny speech writers with me”


I guess he didn’t need them after all


Another famous man,
The great Catholic Bishop---Bishop Fulton Sheen
Was once asked,
“Do you have speech writers?”
Bishop Sheen responded,
“Well yes I do---
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John”


Who are the speech writers
Of your life


Your parents---perhaps a trusted sibling
Some close friends


I suggest to you
That there are no accidents in life
We become
Who and what we choose to be
Who and what
We surround ourselves with


“If you are faithful in small things
You will be faithful in large”


For myself---like Bishop Fulton Sheen
The Bible has been
A source of great inspiration for me


The Bible has taught me
Of God’s unconditional love for me ( and you )
The Bible has taught me
That I am a child of God
And that my purpose in life
Is to love God
And to love others


“There is nothing
In this world that I can do
To separate me
From the love of God” Romans 8:37 & 38
