“Then I ACKNOWLEDGED my sin to you-my GUILT I covered NOT” Psalm 32:5


WE ALL have done wrong in our life-SOME intentional and some inadvertent-this is also CALLED SIN-and WHEN we have done wrong-the BEST we can do is ACKNOWLEDGE our wrongdoing-and APOLOGIZE to those we have hurt—ASK for another chance-and MAKE SURE we get it RIGHT-if we are fortunate to get that SECOND CHANCE


UNFORTUNATELY-some of us want to AVOID the truth-and NOT COME CLEAN-but you and I BOTH KNOW that in the long run-the guilt and shame that we bear-is NOT worth the momentary DISCOMFORT of ACKNOWLEDGING our sin to GOD-to others-and to OURSELVES


DEAR Lord-we PRAY-that we know DEEP DOWN-that you LOVE ME/love us-regardless of the wrong that we have done in our life-and that you FORGIVE US-HELP OTHERS to forgive us also-and to FORGIVE OURSELVES


it is a GREAT DAY to be ALIVE in God's love for us-and a great day to FORGIVE OTHERS and to FORGIVE OURSELVES






WITNESS

GUILT




One of the most useless qualities
We can ever feel
Is GUILT


Guilt over something that we did
Or something that
We didn’t do


The ONLY way
This quality is useful
Is if we man up
Or woman up
And use it to become
A better better person
In the future


We can’t change
The past
So to just feel
Or have regret
Is of NO PARTICULAR value


“My guilt
Has overwhelmed me
Like a burden too heavy to bear” Psalm 38:4


Do NOT let that happen to you


You can’t
Change the past
But you can still be
A productive force in society
In the future


You are
Someone special in this world
You are someone special
To your family
And your friends


And if you say
You have no one
Or nothing in this world


Remember
You are someone special
To God


Nothing is
TOO HEAVY for God
No sin
Is too bad for God
If you
Really want to change
For the better


“If we confess our sins
He is faithful and JUST
And will forgive us our sins
And purify us from all unrighteousness” 1 John 1:9


No sin
Is too big for God
He has seen it all
The Lord CAN AND WILL forgive


ANY WRONG
If you have an honest-SINCERE upright heart


“Oh Israel-put your HOPE
In the Lord
For with the Lord is UNFAILING LOVE
And with him is FULL REDEMPTION” Psalm 130:7


Acknowledge your wrongdoing
To the party that you harmed
Acknowledge it to God
And acknowledge it to yourself


Then let it go
AND WAIT ON THE LORD


LET THE PAST
BE THE PAST


Make tomorrow
The first day of
THE REST of your life
And be on your way
