“HE said to them, 'COME away yourselves to a deserted place and REST a while” Mark 6:31




DO YOU spend time alone with God? ANY time at all? Jesus offers this advice to his APOSTLES-
“SPEND some TIME ALONE with GOD”---because IF you don't take CARE of yourself-you won't be
of any HELP to anyone else


I wonder what Jesus thinks about our busy schedules-our rushing around-the fact that we don't have time for anyone else-HIM-or even ourselves-I WONDER what he thinks about our obsession with cell phones and social media


WE ARE rarely alone with God-and it is NOT his choice-but ours-HE IS available to us any time we want him or NEED HIM-HE never says-”NOT NOW”


GOD rested on the seventh day-and he wants us to TAKE TIME out to rest too-just to be with him-TAKE some time to be ALONE with GOD this week-TAKE some time out to REST














NEVER ALONE




We are NEVER alone
God is ALWAYS with us


He is never behind us
He may be beside us
HOLDIND US UP
But in most cases
He is walking ahead
And LEADING the way


“So the Lord alone did LEAD him
And there was NO strange god with him” Deuteronomy 32:12


WE ARE NEVER ALONE


We all face decisions
In life


Decisions of health
Decisions of finances
And MANY relationship issues


We have to accumulate
All the information
Then we have
To make a decision


For IF GOD is with us
What does it matter
Who is against us


For we are
NEVERALONE


LET GO-and let God


“Therefore
In the present case
I advise you
Leave these men alone


Let them go
For if their purpose
Or activity
Is of human origin
It will FAIL


But IF it is FROM GOD
You will not be able
To stop these men
You will only find yourselves
Fighting against God” Acts 5:38-39


TRUST in God
BELIEVE in God
Have FAITH in God


WE ARE NEVER ALONE


But HOW do we know
IF our work
Is from God
Or of human origin


Have faith
IF it is supposed to be
IT WILL BE
If it is of God
If it is meant to be
It will be-IT WILL SURVIVE


WE ARE NEVER ALONE


And for a concrete example
ALL we have to do
Is look at JESUS’ own life


HIS WORK SURVIVED
HIS WORDS SURVIVED


“Caiaphas-who was the high priest
That year-spoke up


‘You know nothing at all
You do not realize
That it is better for you
That ONE MAN die for the people
Than that the whole nation perish” John 11:49-50


But Jesus did NOT die
HIS WORK survived
Because like us


WE ARE NEVER ALONE
