ANSWER THE CALL!


For us=in today's world
We all have a
CALLING in life


For SOME of us=OUR CALLING=
Our MISSION is in God=and
What he is telling us to do


It can be a BIT
Confusing=and that is the way
It was for Jesus' disciples


“Then the disciples UNDERSTOOD
That he was
Speaking to them of
JOHN the Baptist” Matthew 17:13


I can SYMPATHIZE with the
Disciples' sense of disorientation
And INABILITY to understand Jesus


It isn't all that different=
For us=HIS DISCIPLES
In today's world


But maybe the MOST
Important thing=isn't that
We get it exactly right


Just that we are AVAILABLE
To ANSWER THE CALL
Of God and Jesus
In today's world


We don't have to worry
About getting it right=for God
ALWAYS gets it right
In the LONG RUN


We just have to be
AVAILABLE=for the
CALLING OF GOD


“And everyone who CALLS
On the name of the Lord
Will be saved


For on Mount Zion
And in Jerusalem
There will be DELIVERANCE


As the Lord
Has said


Even among the survivors
Whom the LORD CALLS” Joel 2:32


“And everyone who CALLS
On the name of the Lord
WILL BE SAVED” Acts 2:21


It is a CONFUSING TIME
In the world today=
There are MANY who
DON'T BELIEVE God exists


And lets NOT FORGET
It was confusing
For the EARLY DISCIPLES too


They had just witnessed
The TRANSFIGURATION=the appearance
Of Elijah and Abraham


And Jesus tells them
To KEEP IT to themselves


I would want to
YELL it from the
Tallest mountain=as I am SURE
They wanted to too


Our mission=OUR CALLING TODAY
Is to PREPARE the way
For the Lord
As Elijah and John the BAPTIST did


“My Father's house
Has many rooms
IF that were not so


Would I have told you
That I am going there
To PREPARE
A place for you?” John 14:2


Let us all
BE SHINING EXAMPLES
Of God's word
And the GOOD NEWS
Of the Lord


Don't worry about
Getting it right=just ANSWER
THE CALL


The LORD will get it RIGHT
FOR YOU


In Jesus' name and IN the name of our EVERLASTING=all loving FATHER
