THE QUESTION OF A LIFETIME
The question of a life=
ANY LIFE=is
WHO is this man Jesus?
It is the question of our LIFETIME=
The question of our lives
“What sort of man
Is this---whom
Even the winds
And the sea obey?” Matthew 8:27
Jesus is THE MAN
I wish I could be=
HE is the man
With all the qualities
I wish I could embody
He is the man=Jesus is-
Who has all the QUALITIES
I look for-in all others
Who is this man Jesus?
It is the QUESTION
Of our lives
Jesus is the compassionate one=
Jesus is the prayerful-
HOLY ONE
He is the IMAGE
We ALL wish we could be
He loves his FATHER=
He is strong-
He is courageous-
And he is HONEST
He is the IMAGE
Of what
We all WISH
We could BE
“Then God said=
'Let us make mankind
IN OUR IMAGE
In our likeness
So that
They may rule over
The fish in the sea
And the birds
In the sky........'” Genesis 1:26
“For those God foreknew
He also predestined
To be conformed
To the IMAGE
Of his SON
That he might be
The firstborn
Among many brothers
And sisters” Romans 8:29
“The god of this age
Has blinded the minds
Of unbelievers
So that they cannot see
The light of the gospel
That displays
The glory of Christ
Who is
THE IMAGE OF GOD” 2 Corinthians 4:4
Yes=who is Jesus?
WHO is Jesus to YOU?
It is the question
For OUR LIFETIMES
The question
For MY LIFETIME
To me=he is GOD ALMIGHTY
He is PERFECT LOVE=perfect kindness=
Perfect forgiveness
He is the alpha
And the omega
It takes a lifetime
To LEARN about Jesus=
And it takes a lifetime
To FIND JESUS=in our
Every day lives
“For his anger
Lasts only a moment
But his favor
Lasts a LIFETIME
Weeping may stay
For the night
But rejoicing
Comes in the morning” Psalm 30:5
Dear Lord=help me to BE
MORE like you=and find you
In others=in my life
You are the ANSWER
FOR MY LIFETIME

SEARCHING FOR OUR JESUS!
SEARCHING FOR OUR JESUS!
Our Lord Jesus isn't
A hard man to FIND=
All we have to do
Is OPEN our hearts-
The littlest bit
And we FIND HIM
SEARCHING for our Lord Jesus!
Searching for=FINDING and following
Our dear brother JESUS
"'Teacher I will
FOLLOW YOU wherever you go'
Jesus answered him
'Foxes have dens an d birds
Of the sky
Have nests
But the SON OF MAN
Has nowhere to
REST his head'" Matthew 8:19-20
Jesus is OUR LEADER-
We are his followers
WHEN we search for Jesus
We FIND HIM
Right at the center
Of our VERY OWN HEARTS
"SEARCH me God
And know my heart
Test me
And know my
Anxious thoughts" Psalm 139:23
"It is
The glory of God
To conceal a matter
To SEARCH OUT a matter
Is the glory of kings" Proverbs 25:2
"I will
SEARCH for the lost
And bring back
The strays
I will bind up
The injured
And strengthen the weak
But the sleek
And the strong
I will destroy
I will shepherd
The flock=with JUSTICE" Ezekiel 34:16
There are all kinds
Of things=that I WANT
In this world
I want to be HOLY
Just like Jesus
I want an END
To suffering for everyone=
And I want EQUAL JUSTICE
For all people
WHEN we search for Jesus
We come to REALIZE
That there is no home=
Is no rest=but in HIS
HEART=his holy-immaculate
SACRED HEART
MANY of us search
For Jesus-all over
THE WORLD
But when we slow
Ourselves down=we come to realize
That he is LIVING
Right INSIDE of our own heart
Searching for=but FINDING Jesus
Living right inside
Of our very own SELF
"Ask and it will
Be given to you
Seek and you WILL FIND
Knock=and the door
Will be opened to you" Matthew 7:7
"For those who FIND ME
FIND LIFE
And receive favor
From the Lord" Proverbs 8:35
I LOST a lot physically
With my illness
But I FOUND GOD
And found Jesus
Living right INSIDE OF ME
Don't try so hard to
Find Jesus=he is LIVING
Right inide of you!

ON THE PATH OF GOD
ON THE PATH OF GOD!
We are all on
A PATH OF LIFE=hopefully
WE are all on
The path
That GOD CHOOSES for us
And NOT the path
That we choose
For ourselves
There is a BIG DISCREPANCY
Between the two
I choose to be
ON the path of God
The path
That GOD CHOOSES FOR ME
"You show me
THE PATH OF LIFE" Psalm 16:11
GOD'S PATH leads
To a LONG LIFE=leads
To abundant JOY=too
Even leads
To life AFTER DEATH
It is easy to
Become ANXIOUS and
Distracted in this world
To let the worries
Of this world
GET US DOWN
But when we
Choose the PATH OF GOD=
WE will still have
TROUBLE in this world
But despite our troubles-
We can still live
A LIFE=FULL OF JOY!
"Fill my heart
With JOY
When their grain
And new wine abound" Psalm 4:7
"The prospect
Of the righteous
IS JOY
But the heart
Of the wicked
Come to nothing" Proverbs 10:28
"The bride belongs
To the bride groom
The friend who attends
The bridegroom
Waits and listens for him
And is
FULL OF JOY
When he hears
The bridegroom's voice
That JOY is mine
And it is now complete" John 3:29
Yes we live in
COMPLETE JOY
When we
CHOOSE the way
Of the Lord
When we choose
To live in LOVE=kindness=
And forgiveness
When we live AT PEACE
With others
We need to choose=the
WAY of the Lord everyday
We need to LIVE
IN PRAYER=to pray
And read OUR BIBLE
DAILY
"Answer me
When I call you
My righteous God
Give me relief
From my distress
Have mercy on me

CHOOSE GOD=and
FIND God and find others

Of course we all KNOW
The INCREDIBLE STORY of Jesus-
And his crucifixion-death-
And RESURRECTION
Today in our readings=we have
Some more INCREDIBLE-fantastic stories
We have the STORY of
Peter=and how he is PROMISED
The keys to heaven
And how he is RESCUED
From the death penalty
By an ANGEL
"Now I know for certain
That the Lord
Sent his ANGEL
And rescued me
From the hand of Herod........" Acts 12:11
And then we have Paul
Recalling=how he was
"RESCUED from the lion's mouth" 2 Timothy 4:17
And how he is
To get
His-"CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS" 2 Timothy 4:8
The AMAZING STORIES
Of our Lord
And his APOSTLES
PRETTY AMAZING STUFF!
These stories of our Lord and
They seem UNREAL
But yet they are REAL-
These stories of our LORD
Are amazing
And they are REAL
"When Jesus had finished
Saying these things=
The crowds were AMAZED
At his teachings
Because he taught
As one
Who had authority
And not as their teachers
Of the law" Matthew 7:28
"The disciples were AMAZED
At his words" Mark 10:24
"When the proconsul
Saw what had happened
He believed
For he was AMAZED
At the teaching
About the Lord" Acts 13:12
We probably will NEVER
Need to be rescued
From persecution
But there are CHRISTIANS
STILL being persecuted
Around the world
ONLY GOD KNOWS
Why angels
Aren't SENT to rescue them
Neveretheless-they=and we-
Are LOVED BY GOD
The BIBLE is full of
AMAZING STORIES and
They are REAL
"For my flesh
Is REAL food
And my blood
Is REAL drink" John 6:55
"But as his anointing
Teaches you
About all things
And as that anointing
Is REAL-
Not counterfeit--------
Just as it has taught you
Remain in him" 1 John 2:27
GOD'S STORIES are amazing and
As REAL
As the ANGELS we
All have
We can only GUESS
At how many times
Our ANGEL RESCUES US
During the course
Of each day
It is pretty INCREDIBLE-AMAZING
That we all have angels=and
So are
The STORIES of the bible
AND OUR LORD

GOD SPEAKS TO US!
We all have MANY BLESSINGS
In life=the very least
Of which is=LIFE ITSELF!
And when we REMEMBER this=
We become=FILLED WITH JOY

As you favor
Your people
Visit me
With your SAVING HELP........" Psalm 106:4
But there are
Many CHALLENGES in life too
Health challenges=financial challenges
And difficult relationships=WHERE
People challenge us EVERY DAY
But what is GREAT is
Whatever challenges we FACE=
Whatever circumstances we are
INVOLVED IN
We do not
Have to face them ALONE=
GOD IS WITH US!
God SPEAKS to us=he is
OUR SAVING HELP

Be angry
With yourselves
For selling me here
Because it was
To SAVE LIVES
That God sent me

Have you ever LOOKED
At the stars?
There seems NO END
To the STARS=CAN'T
Count that high
I picture Abraham under
The sky at night=
CALLING/counting all the stars
"He took him outside
And said=''Look up at the SKY-
Count the STARS
If you can
Just so'
He added
'Shall your descendants be'" Genesis 15:5
You are
I am=we all are
The STARS of ABRAHAM
The Christian faith
The Jewish faith
The Muslim faith
We are all ONE
Of the stars of Abraham
We should
ALL BE ONE
"God made two great lights--------
The greater light
To govern
The day
And the lesser light
To govern the night
He also made the STARS" Genesis 1:16
"Those who are wise
Will shine like
The brightness
Of the heavens
And those who lead many
To righteousness
LIKE THE THE STARS

LIVE LIVES OF FAITH AND PEACE
We live in one of
The MOST DISTURBED times
In all of HISTORY
We are WORRIED about
Crime and violence right outside
Our front door=
ONE STEP=off of
Our front porch
Despite that=GOD CALLS us
To live lives of FAITH
And of peace=
Just like Jesus did
"He who does thes things
Shall NEVER be disturbed" Psalm 15:5
Our country=our government
EVEN things that
Happen in the CHURCH
Leaves us
Disillusioned and anxious
Yet=when we
Are CLOSE to God
WHEN we are
Close to Jesus
We are still ABLE
To live lives of
FAITH=and of PEACE
"When Jesus
Saw their FAITH-
He said to the man
'Take heart=son-
Your sins are forgiven'" Matthew 9:2
"By FAITH in
The name of Jesus
This man
Whom you see and know
Was made strong
It is Jesus' name
And the FAITH
That comes
Through him
That has COMPLETELY healed him
As you
Can all see" Acts 3:16
"Therefore the promise
Comes by FAITH
So that it may be
Guaranteed to all
Of Abraham's offspring--------........." Romans 4:16
We are called
NOT to live lives
Of anxiety
But to live lives
Of FAITH AND PEACE
To CHANGE this fear-filled world
We must begin by
LIVING lives of faith=OURSELVES
WE must be at PEACE
With ourselves
And we must RETURN
Over and over
To the Lord our God
To our SAVIOR=Jesus
LIVING LIVES of faith
And peace=
NOT full of fear
"Consider the blameless-
Observe the upright
A future awaits those
Who SEEK PEACE" Psalm 37:37
"PEACE I leave with you
My PEACE I give you
I do not
Give to you
As the world gives
Do not let your hearts
Be troubled

ONLY in GOD
Can we find the PEACE
That replaces our anxiety
Only in God

We are called
To be LIKE Jesus
WE are CALLED
To LIVE as he lived
And to LOVE
As he loved
Just like Jesus'=cousin John=
Our words
And our actions
Should demonstrate HUMILITY
And reveal=
A deep CONNECTION to Jesus
LIVING and LOVING
Like Jesus
"I am NOT he
One is coming
After me
I am not worthy
To unfasten
The sandals of his feet" Acts 13:25
We may NOT be like John
We may not be
His COUSIN by blood
Yet we are his
BROTHERS & SISTERS in spirit
We have deep CONNECTIONS
With Jesus
We are to LIVE
As he lived
We are to LOVE
As he loved
"A friend loves
At all times
And a BROTHER
Is born
For a time of adversity" Proverbs 17:17
"BROTHERS AND SISTERS=
Do not slander one another
Anyone who speaks
Against a BROTHER os SISTER
Or judges them
Speaks against the law
And judges it
When you judge the law
You are
Not keeping it
But sitting in
Judgment on it" James 4:11
We are not anonymous
IN this world
We are CONNECTED
In love to Jesus
We are connected
In love=TO ONE ANOTHER
God sees us=God
Sees everything
That we do
And everything that
We do NOT DO
He knows our actions
He knows our hearts
He KNOWS if we
Are living and loving
Like he would
Dear Lord=we PRAY to you
That we show it
With our DEEDS
That we are FOLLOWERS

GOD CALLS THE WEAK AND THE HUMBLE
GOD CALLS THE WEAK AND THE HUMBLE
It is a TOUGH WORLD
That we live in=
Our faith ASSURES US
That we can ENDURE-
Whatever the world
Throws at us
It is NOT ALWAYS
To the toughest=and strongest=that
ENDURE in this world=
Although that
Is sometimes the case
But GOD CALLS the
WEAKEST and the HUMBLEST
To TESTIFY for him
"Therefore I am
Content with WEAKNESSES-insults-
Hardships-persecutions-and constraints
For the sake of Christ-
For when I am WEAK-
Then I am strong" 2 Corinthians 12:10
I have been WEAKENED
Every day of my life
By a chronic illness
But like Saint Paul=God
Has given me the strength
To PERSEVERE-
Despite my illness
ALL we have to do
Is look at
The lives of the SAINTS
And those in the bible
To see HOW GOD
Used the weak
And the humble
To ADVANCE his word
In this world
We live in
"In the same way
The SPIRIT helps us
In our WEAKNESS
We do not know
What we ought to
Pray for
But the Spirit himself
Intervenes for us
Through wordless groans" Romans 8:26
"For the foolishness of God
Is wiser than
Human strength
And the WEAKNESS of God
Is stronger than human strength" 1 Corinthians 1:25
"But he said to me=
'My grace is sufficient
For you
For my power
Is made perfect
IN WEAKNESS'
Therefore I will boast
All the more gladly
About my WEAKNESSES
So that Christ's power

When we are weak-
When we are HUMBLE=
God can use us
Even more=
As Saint Paul FOUND OUT
God sends us the GRACE
In order=for him
To be MAGNIFIED
God calls the weak=
And he calls
The HUMBLE
Humility is given
To us
Through GRACE ALONE
The weaker you are
The more DEPENDENT
You are on God
The GREATER
God can use you
Saint Paul and the SAINTS
Found that out=
SO DID I
"HUMILITY is
The fear of the LORD
Its wages are richer
And honor and LIFE" Proverbs 22:4
So DON'T WORRY about
Your weaknesses=
The weaker that you are
THE MORE GOD
Can USE YOU
So STEP FORWARD in GRACE

REVEALING OUR TRUE TREASURES IN LIFE
What ARE the TREASURES
Of your life?
Is it God?
Is it FAMILY?
What really means a LOT
To you in this world?
"Do NOT store up
For yourselves
TREASURES on earth........?" Matthew 6:19
In the gospel today=
Jesus INSTRUCTS his disciples-
Not to store up TREASURES
That can be lost
Or stolen
The TRUE disciples of God
Are DETACHED from earthly goods
So that
They can STORE UP
TRUE treasures for heaven
Jesus KNOWS we need things
Like food-shelter-and clothing
But our true treasures
Should be on the
SPIRITUAL THINGS
Of this world
LOVING God=loving our neighbor=
HELPING those in need
In this world
"And if you look
For it as silver
And search for it
As for HIDDEN TREASURE" Proverbs 2:4
"Ill-gotten TREASURES
Have no lasting value
But righteousness
Delivers from death" Proverbs 10:2
"........in order
That they my know
The mystery of God=
Namely Christ
In whom are hidden
All the TREASURES
Of wisdom and knowledge" Colossians 2:2-3
I think a more
HONEST MEASURE of where
Our treasures really lie
Is where do I spend
My time=
My money=my EMOTION
What are the REAL TREASURES
Of your life?
For me=it is GOD
It is my FAMILY=my friends
These are the things
That really matter to me
I WISH God and family
Were the TREASURES
Of the most of the world
I wish=
Love-forgiveness and KINDNESS
Really mattered
To MOST of the world
WHERE do you spend
Your TIME?
What do you spend
Most of your MONEY on?
What are the really true
VALUES of your life?
What are YOUR LASTING TREASURES?

Has full confidence
In her-

Just making SURE we
USE the necessary words
That we need
To convey an
ADEQUATE MESSAGE=
Using the necessary words
That we need
To convey the MESSAGE OF GOD

Our MESSAGE=and to whom
Has the arm
Of the Lord
Been revealed?" Isaiah 53:1
"My MESSAGE
And my preaching
Were not
With wise and persuasive words-
But with a demonstartion
Of the Spirit's power
So that your faith
Might not rest
On human wisdom
But on GOD'S POWER" 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
"Let the MESSAGE of Christ
Rule in your hearts
Since as members
Of one body
You were called
To peace
And be thankful" Colossians 3:16
OVER the past several years
I have tried
To IMPRINT the message
Of God and CHRIST
On your hearts
WORDS like love-KINDNESS-
And forgiveness are NECESSARY
They are really important
When we
LIVE them out
With our lives
Christ TRANSORMED his will=mightily
To us=in the new testament
WITH WORDS
Matthew-Mark-Luke-John-
And Paul have WRITTEN
The words of Christ=and
The WORDS OF GOD
To us
WORDS ARE NECESSARY!
"Therefore=it is NECESSARY
To choose one of the men
Who have been with us
The whole time
The Lord Jesus
Was living among us" Acts 1:21
Words are necessary
In PRAYER=words are NECESSARY
In our communications
With one another
Choose the words of Jesus=
Choose the words of LOVE
AND KINDNESS
In your communication
With our dear BROTHERS & SISTERS in Christ
In Jesus' name=and in the name of our LOVING-COMMUNICATIVE FATHER

NOT JUST WORDS
NOT JUST WORDS
God uses=the GOSPEL USES=
Words like=
Freedom=love=and FORGIVENESS
SOME who read these WORDS
Are actually captives
IN prison or jails
But the greater MAJORITY
Of us=are BOUND in
Our own habitual sin=or
To our weaknesses
"The Lord sets
Captives FREE" Psalm 146:7
We are all CAPTIVES of
This world=in ONE WAY
Or another
Or MAYBE we are
Captives of our own selves=
Because of our INABILITY
To forgive
Or because-
We INSIST on
Holding a GRUDGE
We become
PRISONERS of ourselves
"My son-
If you accept MY WORDS
And store up
My commands within you........" Proverbs 2:1
"Heaven and earth
Will pass away
But my WORDS
Will never pass away" Matthew 24:35
"This is
What we speak
NOT IN WORDS
Taught us by human wisdom
But in WORDS
Taught by the Spirit
Explaining spiritual realities
With SPIRIT-TAUGHT WORDS" 1 Corinthians 413
Many families are torn APART
Because of wounds=because
ONE MEMBER=is unable
To forgive another member
PRIDE sets is=and so does
Resentment-cynicism-and anger
When you are living
With these things=
It is hard
To find
The JOY IN LIFE
Maybe we NEED to
Get back to those words
That Jesus spoke so
Much about=
"FREEDOM-LOVE-FORGIVENESS"
They are NOT just words
They are the teachings
For us to TAKE TO HEART
For us
To live as FREE PEOPLE
"He upholds
The cause of the oppressed
And gives food
To the hungry
The Lord sets
PRISONERS FREE" Psalm 146:7
In the gospel=Jesus
ENCOUNTERS people broken by sin
He uses WORDS like=
"Freedom=love=and forgiveness"
IF we take them to
OUR HEARTS=and really live them
We really CAN BE FREE
In Jesus' name=and in the name of of our almighty=FREEDOM LOVING FATHER

The moment GOD'S GRACE is

Of the Lord Jesus
And GOD'S GRACE
Was so powerfully at work

BY GRACE
And may be guaranteed
To all Abraham's offspring--------
NOT only to those
Who are ot the law
But also to those
Who have the FAITH
Of Abraham
He is

Paul had a FANTASTIC TESTIMONY=
He had a SPECIAL GRACE
That was ALWAYS with him
The grace moved through him
And his disciples=as it
MOVES through all of us
Paul lived with a
DYNAMIC AWARENESS=because he
Was not receiving GOD'S GRACE
In vain
WE too
RECEIVE the grace of God=
The DIVINE WORK of God
Is always with us
Because the GRACE OF GOD
Is always living in us
WE are NOT WASTING it
WE are using it DAILY
"GRACE and peace
To you=from God our Father
And the
Lord Jesus Christ
Who gave himself
For our sins
To RESCUE US
From the present
Evil age
ACCORDING to the will
Of our God and Father
To whom be glory
For ever and ever=AMEN" Galatians 1:3
Paul NEVER wasted
The GRACE of God=
NEITHER SHOULD WE
It is ACTIVE AND ALIVE in us
Every moment of our lives
DON'T waste the power of NOW=
Live with the GRACE OF GOD

GOD IS A MYSTERY=BE AT PEACE
GOD IS A MYSTERY=BE AT PEACE
God is a MYSTERY=he wants
To tell us
ALL about himself
But he HOLDS
A lot back=
Because he knows
That we
Are NOT READY
To understand it all
To bear it now
In our HUMAN EXISTENCE
But someday=when we
Are with him
For all ETERNITY
He will make SURE
WE KNOW all about him=
And the why's and wherefor's
Of our lives
"Jesus said to his disciples=
'I have much more
To tell you
But you cannot
Bear it now=
But when he comes
The SPIRIT of truth
He will guide you
To all truth'" John 16:12-13
BE AT PEACE with God=
Knowing him is a
Lifelong learning experience
But we learn more
About him=EACH and every day
But he is and always will be
A MYSTERY to us
For example=God is three in ONE=
Being=existing from the beginning
UNTIL the end of time
The TRINITY of God
Saves=creates=dies=and RISES
Who can understand
These realities?
ALL we can do
Is ACCEPT these mysteries
Of GOD=
And know
That he loves us
And be at PEACE
With that
GOD IS A MYSTERY
"I do not
WANT you to be ignorant
Of this MYSTERY
Brothers and sisters
So that you
May not be conceited
Israel has experienced
A hardening in part
Until the full number
Of the Gentiles
Has come in" Romans 11:25
"This MYSTERY
Is that through
The gospel=the Gentiles are heirs
Together with Israel
Members together of one body
And sharers together
In the PROMISE of Christ Jesus" Ephesians 3:6
We will NEVER UNDERSTAND
All the mysteries of God=
All we can do
Is accept these MYSTERIES
And LOVE God and
Each other
This way-we can
BE AT PEACE
With the mysteries of God
And love him with our WHOLE HEART-
Soul-mind-and STRENGTH
"The Lord
Gives strength
To his people
The Lord blesses his people
WITH PEACE" Psalm 29:11
Our God has been=IS=and
Will always be
A MYSTERY
BE AT PEACE with it=
Until you get the ANSWERS
In union and in ETERNITY with God

He was
The Father of all Fathers
The Father of Jesus
Our Lord
The angel of the Lord
Appeared to Joseph
“Do not be afraid
To take Mary as your wife
Because what is conceived in her
Is from the Holy Spirit”
Are you serious Lord
Could you imagine
How you would react
How I would react
How anyone would react
To this---in today’s world
Joseph was a righteous man
He did not want
To expose Mary to public disgrace
So he stood by her
Then the angel
Told Joseph
To take the child and Mary---to Egypt
And he did this too
He was
A carpenter by trade
And as his human Father---
Along with Mary
Was responsible for developing the human traits and character
Of Jesus
Our Saint Joseph
A man of righteousness
A man of honor and faith
The Patron Saint of Fathers
Our Saint Joseph
Who stood tall
In the midst
Of it all
Our Saint Joseph
The Father of the Holy Family
Our Saint Joseph
The Father of the Universal Church

GOD LOVES US=BEYOND OUR UNDERSTANDING
GOD LOVES US=BEYOND OUR UNDERSTANDING
It is a difficult world
That we live in=we
Get TESTED all the time
Tested in our physical health
Tested in our finances=and
Tested in our RELATIONSHIPS=
With many difficult people
"Bless the Lord-
O my soul
And forget
NOT all the benefits
He pardons
All your iniquities
He HEALS=all your ills
He redeems your life
From destruction
He crowns you
With KINDNESS and compassion" Psalm 103:2-4
ONCE you have fought through
The difficult trials and testing
And BEGIN to come out
The other side=
It will probably
WARM your heart
At least it does mine
And in fact=it
Has brought me to TEARS
For and from the COMPASSION
And kindness of the Lord!
God LOVES US=
Way BEYOND our understanding
He has great compassion for us
EVEN when we are in the middle
Of our MOST severe TESTS=
I have an
OVERWHELMING GRATITUDE for the Lord
For the fact=
That he has given me
A SECOND CHANCE at life=
Even though I fight
Difficult battles EVERY DAY
God loves us
WAY BEYOND our UNDERSTANDING!
"But if your servant
Says to you'=
'I do NOT
Want to leave you'
"Because he LOVES YOU
And your family
And is well off
With you........" Deuteronomy 15:16
"The one who gets wisdom
LOVES LIFE
The one who
Cherishes understanding
Will soon prosper" Proverbs 19:8
"Whoever has my commands
And keeps them
Is the one
Who LOVES ME
The one who LOVES ME
Will be loved
By my Father
And I too
Will LOVE THEM
And show myself to them" John 14:21
You have to have
Gone through
A difficult time
To UNDERSTAND
What it means to be HEALED
You have to have
EXPERIENCED PAIN
And been in the pit
To understand
What it means
To be REDEEMED
To have made some MISTAKES
In life=and experienced misfortune
And yet STILL be CROWNED
With mercy and compassion
By the Lord
"Dear friends
Let us LOVE one another
For love=COMES from God
Everyone who LOVES
Has been born of God
And knows God" 1 John 4:7
This is our God
The God=WHO LOVES US
BEYOND OUR UNDERSTANDING
PRAISE HIM=all
The days of your life!
In Jesus' name=and in the name of God the FATHER=who ALWAYS LOVES US!

Throughout Jesus’ life
He kept an open running dialogue
With God, his Father
There was NEVER a time
That they weren’t connected
We all
Have had earthly fathers
Some good---some bad
Some of us still connected with them
Some not
Some alive---some dead
But ultimately
We ALL come from the same father
The Father of Jesus
The Father of us too
THE GOD OF LOVE
“For you did not receive
A spirit that makes you a slave again
To fear
But you received the Spirit of Son ship
And by him we cry “ABBA FATHER” Romans 8: 15 & 16
The spirit himself
Testifies with our spirit
That we are God’s Children
But what does it mean
To be a Child of God
In today’s world
It means
That though we may disappoint God
That though we may let him down
He is always
Going to continue to love us
Like most earthly parents do
For their children
Or at least---
Try to do
“Because you are Sons
God sent the Spirit of his Son
Into our hearts
The spirit who calls out,
“Abba Father”
You are no longer a slave
But a Son
And since you are a Son ( and Daughter )
God had made you an heir” Galatians 4:6-7
Can you imagine
We are heirs
Heirs to an unconditional love
A love that we can never lose
Heirs to the Kingdom of Heaven
Heirs for eternity---Heirs to God---The King of Love
So today
As we honor our earthly fathers
Let us also
Honor our Godly Father
We thank you
For loving us
We thank you
For calling us your children

In psalm 27:1
The psalmist uses three terms
To REFER to God
“The Lord is my LIGHT
And SALVATION
Whom should I fear
The Lord is
MY LIFE’S REFUGE
Of whom
Shall I be afraid”
We ALL have problems
In this life
Problems of physical-emotional
And spiritual degrees
Yet we KNOW
That the Lord
IS OUR LIGHT
“God is LIGHT
IN HIM
There is NO darkness at all
IF we
Claim to have fellowship with him
Yet WALK in darkness
We lie
And do not live
BY THE TRUTH” 1 John 1:5-6
GOD IS OUR LIGHT
In the pitch black darkness
OF OUR LIVES
One cannot save himself
ONLY GOD CAN SAVE
God is our salvation
HE is our deliverer
Again
ONE cannot save himself
ONLY GOD SAVES
“IT IS I
Speaking in righteousness
MIGHTY to SAVE” Isaiah 63:1
HOW DO WE KNOW GOD
He is OUR REFUGE
He is OUR safety net
He catches us
WHEN we fall
He is WHO
He is WHERE
We can look
FOR PROTECTION
“God is OUR REFUGE
An EVER-PRESENT HELP in trouble” Psalm 46:1
“I will say of the Lord
‘HE is my REFUGE and my fortress

HOW do we KNOW GOD
