REVEALING OUR TRUE TREASURES IN LIFE
What ARE the TREASURES
Of your life?
Is it God?
Is it FAMILY?
What really means a LOT
To you in this world?
"Do NOT store up
For yourselves
TREASURES on earth........?"                                                                                                          Matthew 6:19
In the gospel today=
Jesus INSTRUCTS his disciples-
Not to store up TREASURES
That can be lost
Or stolen
The TRUE disciples of God
Are DETACHED from earthly goods
So that
They can STORE UP
TRUE treasures for heaven
Jesus KNOWS we need things
Like food-shelter-and clothing
But our true treasures
Should be on the
SPIRITUAL THINGS
Of this world
LOVING God=loving our neighbor=
HELPING those in need
In this world
"And if you look
For it as silver
And search for it
As for HIDDEN TREASURE"                                                                                                                 Proverbs 2:4
"Ill-gotten TREASURES
Have no lasting value
But righteousness
Delivers from death"                                                                                                                        Proverbs 10:2
"........in order
That they my know
The mystery of God=
Namely Christ
In whom are hidden
All the TREASURES
Of wisdom and knowledge"                                                                                                     Colossians 2:2-3
I think a more
HONEST MEASURE of where
Our treasures really lie
Is where do I spend
My time=
My money=my EMOTION
What are the REAL TREASURES
Of your life?
For me=it is GOD
It is my FAMILY=my friends
These are the things
That really matter to me
I WISH God and family
Were the TREASURES
Of the most of the world
I wish=
Love-forgiveness and KINDNESS
Really mattered
To MOST of the world
WHERE do you spend
Your TIME?
What do you spend
Most of your MONEY on?
What are the really true
VALUES of your life?
What are YOUR LASTING TREASURES?
"Her husband
Has full confidence
In her-
And lacks nothing of VALUE"                                                                                                     Proverbs 31:11
"Do nothing
Out of selfish ambition
Or vain conceit
Rather in humility
VALUE others
Above yourselves"                                                                                                                        Philippians 2:3
What is your treasure?
What are your
LASTING VALUES?
For me it is LOVE=
It is KINDNESS=it is
Spending my lifetime=with GOD=
And with MY family and friends
DEVOTION TO GOD
In Jesus' name=and in the name=of the LASTING TREASURES of our FATHER
