AT HOME WITH JESUS

AT HOME WITH JESUS


We are AT HOME
With Jesus=all of
Our lives=he lives
IN OUR HEARTS


And someday=we will
GO HOME to Jesus=and
The FATHER=and spend
The REST of our ETERNITY
With them


“Jesus=remember me
When you COME
Into your kingdom” Luke 23:42


AT HOME WITH Jesus!=
Today we read about
THE GOOD THIEF=Luke's gospel
IS the only gospel
That recounts this story


On the surface=it looks
Like a deathbed repentance=but it
Really is SO MUCH MORE


It is a dying man
In his final hours=
Who is CONFRONTED
By his own transgressions
And brokenness


What will be like
On our deathbed?
What will be
The FINAL WORDS
That come out of
Our own mouth?


“........till I entered
The sanctuary of God


Then I understood
Their FINAL DESTINY” Psalm 73:17


“For the Lord
Will carry out


His sentence on earth
With speed and FINALITY” Romans 9:28


The dying thief=
Is a man=NOTICING
Perhaps=for the first time
In his life


What it means
To belong to
The KINGDOM OF GOD


He is feeling
A right relationship
Of justice and of compassion
With the Lord


AT HOME WITH JESUS!


He feels at HOME
With Jesus


He sees the KINGDOM
Embroiled in the
BODY of Jesus


He is feeling=AT HOME
With this man Jesus=
He is
LOOKING to go
To the KINGDOM OF GOD
With him=to be at HOME


“Then people go
To their ETERNAL HOME


And mourners
Go about the streets” Ecclesiastes 12:5


“Jesus replied=
'Anyone who loves me
Will obey my teaching


My Father will love them
And he will
Come to them


And make our HOME
With them'” John 14:23


HOW will you respond
On your deathbed?


All this GOOD THIEF
Asks=is to be
REMEMBERED in the
Kingdom of GOD


I BELIEVE this is
Our desire as well


May we live today=and
FOREVER=and be
AT HOME=in the heart
Of Jesus


In Jesus' name=and in the name=of OUR FOREVER LIVING FATHER!
