"MY PEACE I GIVE TO YOU"

TRUE PEACE is GOD'S GIFT to us-WE cannot find it by human effort or by the things of this world
WE can only find it in GOD and by accepting HIS GIFT to us

WE have in us the VERY LIFE OF GOD and hat is WHERE we find our peace

It is a GREAT DAY to be ALIVE in GOD'S LOVE for us and a GREAT day to find TRUE PEACE
living in us through him










I KNOW ABOUT SOMETHING YOU




I know
Something about you


You are
Desperately searching for peace


I know
Because I am too
We ALL are


I know enough
To know
We will never find it
In trying to find
Fame and fortune


Been there
Done that


All we have to do
Is turn on
The 5 o’clock news every day
To see the lives
Of the rich and famous
Crashing before our very eyes


“My peace I leave with you
My peace I give to you
I do not give to you
As the world gives
Do not let your hearts be troubled
And do not be afraid”


I know something about you
I know something about me too


You will Not find peace
In sexual lustful inclinations
You will Not find peace
In any addiction
Drugs, alcohol, pornography


Been there
Done that
Just leaves you craving more
Feeling more and more empty


I know something about me
And know something about you too


We cannot
Live without peace
And that
We can only find peace
In the peace of God


The peace of God
Transcends all understanding


“Rejoice in the Lord always
I will say it again
Rejoice---let your gentleness
Be evident to all
The Lord is near
Do not be anxious about anything
But in everything
By prayer and petition
With Thanksgiving
Present your requests to God


And the peace of God
Which transcends all understanding
Will guard your hearts and minds
