JOURNAL/KNOWLEDGE AND ARRROGANCE

Jesus said to Philip,  "Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know me, Philip?"

Getting to KNOW God is just a matter of spending a little time with him-OPENING our hearts-minds-
and souls to God---IN OTHER words-PRAYER

IT is a great day to be ALIVE in GOD'S LOVE and spend a little time with him TODAY












KNOWLEDGE AND ARROGANCE




Have you ever been around
Someone who is arrogant
Someone-who knows it all


Who KNOWS everything


Knowledge is great
But these people can be tedious
So full of their own self-importance


It is knowledge of God
And God’s ways
That are most important


“Granted
But they were broken off
Because of unbelief
And you stand by FAITH


Do not be arrogant
But be afraid


For if God
Did not spare the natural branches
He will not
Spare you either” Romans 11:20


PUT ON THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD


“The fear of the Lord
Is the beginning of knowledge
But fools
Despise wisdom and discipline” Proverbs 1:7


Living off the knowledge of man


Put on
The knowledge of God


“We know that
We all possess knowledge


Knowledge puffs up
BUT LOVE BUILDS UP


The man
Who thinks he knows something
Does not yet know
As he ought to know


But the man
WHO LOVES GOD
IS KNOWN BY GOD” 1 Corinthians 8:1-3


Knowledge puffs up
Love puffs up
LOVE GOD
LOVE OTHERS


“And I pray that you
Being rooted and established in love
May have power
Together with all the saints
To grasp how wide and long
And high and deep
IS THE LOVE OF CHRIST


And to know this love
That surpasses knowledge-
-That you may be filled
To the measure
Of ALL the fullness of God” Ephesians 3:17-19


All earthly knowledge
Is somewhat arrogant
If used to rely on oneself


But godly knowledge
In humility
Is built upon
TOTAL dependency on God


Knowledge puffs up
LOVE BUILDS UP


Love God
Love others


This is the knowledge
That is built
ON GOD’S OWN WORDS
