JUSTICE FOR ALL

JUSTICE FOR ALL We live in a world That is NOT FAIR That is a fact If we are good people We try to treat Others-FAIRLY And expect to be treated the same Unfortunately As much as it pains me To say it That is NOT this world “He GUIDES the humble To justice He teaches the humble His way” Psalm 25:8 Hopefully-if we are good Decent-humble people The next world-or HEAVEN Will see to it That we get what we deserve In this world's Quest for peace There is at least One essential quality missing JUSTICE And if we are Not careful The lack of justice In this world This lack of MORAL INTEGRITY Is going to do us All in “Because Of my integrity You uphold me And set me In your presence forever” Psalm 41:12 “The integrity Of the upright Guides them But the unfaithful Are destroyed By their duplicity” Proverbs 11:3 WHEN you live with INTEGRITY- You treat others-fairly But that is still No guarantee that life Will treat you with justice Death strikes some early Illness-does not care who It calls upon And careers fail-and finances fall apart- Sometimes-through no fault Of our own And relationships are IFFY For us all But God treats us all-FAIRLY He is a God-THE LORD- Of justice He treats us ALL the same And LOVES each one of us With an INFINITE LOVE “Here is my SERVANT Whom I have chosen The one I love In whom I delight I will put my spirit On him And he will PROCLAIM JUSTICE To ALL the nations” Matthew 12:18 And will not God Bring about justice For his chosen ones Who cry out to him Day and night? Will he KEEP putting them off?” Luke 18:7 In the Sermon On the MOUNT Jesus tells us That we are to hunger And thirst=FOR JUSTICE And justice Is to be motivated by TRUTH The fair-minded person Will treat you equally Dear Lord-WE PRAY- Help us to be motivated By TRUTH-in this world And treat others with JUSTICE Until such time As we can live with you And find JUSTICE FOR ALL Robert P.
