SAINT ANDREW Before Jesus There was John Andrew was a disciple of John One day Jesus was walking Beside the Sea of Galilee He saw two brothers Who were fishermen And he said to them, “Come follow me And I will make you fishers of men” They immediately Laid down their polls And decided To follow this mysterious man Later on Andrew was the one Who found the little boy With the two fish And the five barley loaves And immediately A miracle was done After Jesus’ Resurrection We don’t know where But we know He preached God’s word Wherever he could Today There are many churches Named in his honor And he is The patron Saint of Scotland and Russia Tradition states If you say a certain prayer Between today and Christmas ( 15 times ) A miracle may be possible Today, November 30th, is his feast day I was baptized At Saint Andrew’s Catholic Church In Pittsburgh, Pa.
