LOVING HIM=DESPITE OUR FAILINGS


We are human beings
With FAILINGS=
Yet we try to LOVE
God and Jesus=
As BEST as we can


We love God==
DESPITE our human failings


“So Simon Peter-
Nodded to him
To FIND OUT
Whom he meant” John 13:24


The apostles SURROUNDED Jesus=
And they TRIED
To love him too=
They were all human


They loved him DESPITE
Their foibles and FAILINGS=
As we love Jesus too


NO MATTER WHAT=
The very best that we can


We are NOT PERFECT=
The apostles-
Were not perfect
And FAILED JESUS


I fail Jesus/we FAIL JESUS
Every day
Of our lives


Yet we LOVE HIM=
Despite our failings=
As MUCH as a
HUMAN BEING CAN


“I will maintain
My love for him forever=
And my covenant
With him
Will NEVER FAIL” Psalm 89:28


“But my salvation
Will last forever=
My righteousness
WILL NEVER FAIL” Isaiah 51:6


“We who are strong
Ought to bear
WITH THE FAILINGS
Of the weak
And NOT to please ourselves” Romans 15:1


LOVING Jesus=loving him
DESPITE OUR FAILINGS


Peter failed Jesus=BIG TIME=
Like we all do


He said he would
LAY DOWN his life for him=
For his master


But Peter-
Would SOON DENY HIM


And HOW OFTEN
Do we fail Jesus?
How often do we
FAIL HIM=
With each and every
Little sin that we commit


HOW FORTUNATE
That we are that Jesus
CHOSE ORDINARY people
For his apostles=
Just like us


We are fortunate
For it
ALLOWS US to see
That God is a
FORGIVING AND MERCIFUL GOD


We love him-
Despite our failings=
But he loves us
DESPITE OUR FAILINGS


“BE MERCIFUL-
Just as your Father
IS MERCIFUL” Luke 6:36


SALVATION is NOT for
The already perfect=
It is for us=those
Who LOVE HIM-
DESPITE OUR FAILINGS


We are all HUMAN=
Just like Peter and
The other apostles


May we NEVER STOP
LOVING HIM
