THE ROCK OF MY LIFE


For as LONG
As I can REMEMBER=
The Lord has been
THE ROCK of my life


I have BUILT my life
On loving God=
On loving others=the
First two commandments


The Lord is-
THE ROCK OF MY LIFE


“I love you=O Lord=
My strength=


O Lord
MY ROCK=my fortress=
My deliverer” Psalm 18:2-3


We think we are
BUILDING ROCK solid lives
But the things


Of this world
DON'T LAST


Our lives don't last=
Our lives are fleeting=
MONEY sure doesn't last-
And relationships
Break down too


We have to BUILD
Our lives
ON THE LORD=
The ROCK solid Lord


“He lifted me out
Of the slimy pit-
Out of the mud
And mire


He set me free
ON A ROCK
And gave me
A firm place
To stand” Psalm 40:2


“Therefore everyone
Who hears these words of mine-
And puts them
Into practice


Is like a wise man
Who builds his house
ON THE ROCK” Matthew 7:24


“........and drank
The same spiritual drink


For they drank
From the SPIRITUAL ROCK
That accompanied them


And that ROCK=
WAS CHRIST” 1 Corinthians 10:4


Yes Jesus is Lord
He is the ROCK
Of my life


He is
Who I have
MODELED my life after=
And I love him dearly


EVERYTHING in life disintegrates=
Everything in life
Passes away


EXCEPT for the words=
Except for the
Teachings of Jesus Christ


“Heaven and earth
Will pass away
But MY WORDS
Will never pass away” Matthew 24:35


And you will NEVER
Pass away=
You will LIVE FOREVER


If you have
Built your life on ROCK=
If you have-
LIVED in the love of CHRIST


I/we will stand forever
In the Lord


On his SURE-
Strong=and lasting love


Lord=be my ROCK TODAY=
And every day of
My dear life=and yours


In the names of Jesus=and our FOREVER LASTING FATHER!
