WAITING TO BE DISCOVERED


Jesus KNEW all along
Who he was=Jesus knew
That with his Father=
He would CONQUER DEATH


WAITING TO BE DISCOVERED


“Then the angel
Said to the women
In reply=
'Do not be afraid-
I know that
You are SEEKING JESUS
The crucified'” Matthew 28:5


How FRUSTRATING it must
Have been for Jesus=
To know you
Are God HIMSELF=
Yet to be DOUBTED


His FOLLOWERS were AFRAID
Following the crucifixion=
They had just lost
Their friend and leader


And they were WONDERING
What is next=
They feared
For their own lives too


Yet they still
SOUGHT HIM=for he
Had PROMISED the IMPOSSIBLE


He had promised
He would conquer death


He had promised
HIS OWN RESURRECTION
From the dead


And ETERNAL LIFE
For them and
ALL the BELIEVERS


WAITING TO BE DISCOVERED


“I WAIT for the Lord=
My whole being WAITS
And in his word
I put my hope” Psalm 130:5


“For the Lord
Is a GOD of justice=
Blessed are all
WHO WAIT FOR HIM” Isaiah 30:18


“Not only so
But we ourselves
Who have
The first fruits
Of the Spirit


Groan inwardly
As we WAIT eagerly
For our adoption
To sonship=
The redemption of our bodies” Romans 8:23


It isn't that
MUCH DIFFERENT for us today
Is it?


We live in fear
Of the UNKNOWN=we fear
Our own mortality


WE FORGET
All the time
That the RISEN CHRIST is WAITING
Right there for us


We forget he is
JUST WAITING
For us=to DISCOVER HIM


“While we WAIT
For the blessed hope--------


The appearing of the glory
Of our great God
And Savior=Jesus Christ” Titus 2:13


This EASTER WEEKEND=
Let us find JESUS CHRIST=
WAITING to be DISCOVERED
Right there=
LIVING at the bottom
Of OUR HEARTS


In Jesus' name=and in the name of our EVER LIVING GOD THE FATHER
