IN HIS FATHER'S NAME


There are so many
SELF-HELP books
In this world


Telling us how to
LIVE our lives and
Find our passions
In this life


They give us
THE KEYS to finding
Personal success


But Jesus has a different way
Of TEACHING=
He tells us that=all of us
Focusing on our “selves”
Has missed the point


Jesus points out
That all of his WORKS
Was in
“HIS FATHER'S NAME”


“The works I do
In my FATHER'S NAME
Testify to me” John 10:25


We too
Should not be
SO SELFISH


We too
Should FOCUS on others=
And do what we CAN
For others
In the name of Jesus
And in
THE FATHER'S NAME


“A FATHER
To the fatherless=
A defender of widows
Is GOD
In his holy dwelling” Psalm 68:5


“And he will be called=
Wonderful Counselor-Mighty God-
EVERLASTING FATHER=
Prince of Peace” Isaiah 9:6


“Jesus said=
'FATHER forgive them-
For they do not know
What they are doing'” Luke 23:34


And the WORKS
Jesus did
Were ALL in the name
Of his FATHER


He healed the sick
Consoled the lonely


He TAUGHT a way
Of peace and RECONCILIATION=
And he gave his own life
For the sake of MANY


He pointed to his Father
Consistently=and he said his way
Was one of ABSOLUTE LOVE


We too
Should do OUR WORKS
In this world=
NOT by pointing to ourselves


But by pointing TO THE FATHER
And our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ


“And I will be
A FATHER to you


And you will be
My sons and daughters
Says the Lord Almighty” 2 Corinthians 6:18


Dear Lord=
We HUMBLY PRAY=
Let others
See my good works


As a SIGN
That IT IS the Father=and
The Lord Jesus
WORKING through us


In Jesus' name=and in the NAME of the FATHER=and all their GOOD WORKS
