THE GROWTH PROCESS


EVERY successful relationship
In life=is meant
For GROWTH


Sometimes there are
SETBACKS and bends=but
In the LONG RUN
They keep moving forward


Maybe you have NOTICED this
In your RELATIONSHIPS with family-
With friends=and with GOD


“I have much MORE
To tell you
But you
Cannot bear it now” John 16:12


You can SEE that Jesus'
Relationships with his APOSTLES
Went this way too=
There was A GROWTH PROCESS


They weren't always ready
To HEAR EVERYTHING-
He wanted to tell them=
They needed TIME TO GROW


And we need time
TO GROW=in our relationship
With God and Jesus too


“Dishonest money dwindles away=
But whoever gathers money
Little by little
Makes it GROW” Proverbs 13:11


“I planted the seed-
Apollos watered it=
But God has
Been MAKING IT GROW” 1 Corinthians 3:6


And GOD makes our relationship
With him GROW TOO=
But all good relationships
TAKE TIME


We have to STAY WITH HIM
Through the ups and downs
Of our life


THROUGH all the successes
And the failures


THINK BACK to your
Earlier years=look at HOW
Your relationship
With God has CHANGED
And GROWN over time


“But GROW
In the grace
And knowledge of our Lord
And SAVIOR Jesus Christ


To him be glory
Now and forever-Amen!” 2 Peter 3:18


Look at how the apostles
GREW through the crucifixion


ONLY THEN
Were they ready-
To COMPLETE the work
That God and Jesus
Had mapped out for them


THE GROWTH PROCESS
Takes time


Our RELATIONSHIP with God
Is a gift=but God wants us
To COOPERATE in its growth


He wants us to PRAY=
And to be OF SERVICE
To others=
It takes TIME
It is a GROWTH PROCESS


“Sow righteousness for yourselves=
Reap the fruit
Of unfailing love


And break up
Your unplowed ground-
For it is TIME
To seek the LORD” Hosea 10:12


Yes our relationships
Are all GROWTH PROCESSES=
Particularly our ones
With God=and family and friends


In Jesus' name=and in the name of=OUR EVER GROWING FATHER!
