EMBODYING THE LOVE OF GOD!
As MODERN day Christians-
When people look at us=
When they SEE US
They should be able to see
THE LOVE OF God=
And the love of Jesus in us
We are to
EMBODY THE LOVE OF GOD!
“........Confess with your mouth
That Jesus is Lord
AND BELIEVE
In your heart........” Romans 10:9
I am LEARNING that discipleship
With Jesus is NOT just
Giving lip service
To the WORD OF GOD=
It is NOT-
Just about having good feelings
Our FAITH is also
A series of gestures=
BOWING in worship=
Praying earnestly=
And DOING GOOD for
All others WHEN WE CAN
EMBRACING THE LOVE OF GOD!
“........An instructor-of the foolish
A teacher of little children-
Because you have the law
THE EMBODIMENT
Of knowledge and truth-------
You then who teach others-
Do you not teach yourself?” Romans 2:20-21
We are to TEACH OTHERS=
With our mouths=
With our ears=
Our feet=and with our hands
We are to
EMBODY the love of God=
The love of others
We are to TEACH OTHERS
In whatever ways that we can
“I will instruct you
And TEACH YOU
In the way
You should go
I will counsel you
With my loving eye
On you” Psalm 32:8
“Now the overseer
Is to be above reproach=
Faithful to his wife-
Self-controlled=respectable=hospitable=
ABLE TO TEACH
Not given to drunkenness-
Not violent-but gentle-
Not quarrelsome-
Not a lover of money” 1 Timothy 3:2-3
We are to EMBODY
THE LOVE OF GOD=and
The love of JESUS
With our mouths=
We should PROCLAIM
The GOOD NEWS
We should listen to=HEAR=
And LIVE the word of God
With our ears
With our feet
We should FOLLOW GOD'S WORD
To the ends=of this world
And with our eyes=
We should SEE HIS FACE
In all others
When we pause=and REST
Our bodies=on the sabbath=
We RENEW OUR HEARTS
With the grace of God=
We will continue to EMBODY
THE LOVE OF GOD
For all others
In Jesus' name=and in the name of or ALWAYS living loving FATHER
