A MEMBER OF OUR FAMILY

We are a MEMBER

Of Jesus' FAMILY=he lived

A human life=just like us

He is ONE OF US!

We are MEMBERS

OF HIS FAMILY

“Jacob=the father of Joseph=

The husband of Mary

Of her=was born Jesus=

Who is called THE CHRIST” Matthew 1:16

The genealogy of Jesus

Is a FASCINATING

List of names

Some of the names

Are FAMILIAR=we name

Our children after them

(Isaac-Jacob-David)

But many of the other names

Are very obscure

(Abijah-Uzziah-Zerubbabel)

And Jesus had some skeletons

In the CLOSET of his family=

Just like we ALL DO

Jacob was a conniver=

Tamar seduced her father-in-law=

Rahab was a prostitute=

David and Bathsheba were adulterers=

And Ahaz=

Was a wicked king

But Jesus is our BROTHER=

The SON OF GOD-

He is In our family

That makes us royalty

“If you really keep

The ROYAL LAW=

Found in Scripture

'Love your neighbor

As yourself''

You are doing right” James 2:8

“But you are

A chosen people=

A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD

A holy nation-

God's special possession

That you may declare

The praises of him

Who called you out of darkness

Into his wonderful light” 1 Peter 2:9

We are Jesus' brothers=

We are MEMBERS

OF HIS FAMILY=

We are sons

And daughters of God

The HOLY FATHER

When Jesus became

A human being

He NOT only took on

Our human flesh

But he became=

A full fledged member

Of our very own=IMPERFECT HUMAN FAMILY

Jesus=like his mother Mary=

And his step-father Joseph

Lived in the REAL WORLD=

Just like us

They lived

In the real world=

They are

MEMBERS OF OUR FAMILY

“He must manage

His own FAMILY well

And see that his children

Obey him=

And he must do so

In a manner=worthy of respect” 1 Timothy 3:4

Jesus was one of us=

He EXPERIENCED sorrow=joy=

Pain=pleasure=

Everything but sin

He is=A MEMBER OF OUR FAMILY

The human family

In Jesus' name=and in the name of GOD THE FATHER'S HOLY FAMILY!
