FINDING THE WAY OF THE LORD

It is ADVENT=and like

John the Baptist tells us=

It is TIME to

Prepare the WAY

Of the Lord

It is NOT only time

To prepare the way=

But it is time

To FIND THE WAY

Of the Lord=and it is time

To follow

THE WAY of the Lord

“A highway will

Be there=called the HOLY WAY........

And on it

The redeemed will walk” Isiah 35:8-9

And in Isaiah 40=

“Prepare the WAY of the Lord........”

Is cited=as well as in the 4 gospels=

HOMAGE to John the Baptist is paid

FIND the way

Of the Lord=follow the WAY

Of the Lord=this ADVENT

FINDING THE WAY

OF OUR DEAR LORD

“In spite of this-

You did not trust

In the Lord your God

Who went ahead of you

On your journey

In fire by night

And in a cloud=by day

To search out places

For you to camp

And to show you

THE WAY you should go” 1 Deuteronomy 32-33

“Commit YOUR WAY to

The Lord=Trust in him

And he will do this........” Psalm 37:5

“There is a WAY

That appears to be right=

But in the end-

It leads to death” Proverbs 14:12

But when we FOLLOW=

The real Lord=Jesus Christ

It leads to=THE WAY OF LIFE

Early disciples of Jesus

Often called themselves

Followers of “THE WAY”

This is one of my

Most favorite passages

“Jesus answered=

'I AM THE WAY

And the truth

And the life

No one comes

To the Father

Except through me'” John 14:6

Following the way

Of the Lord=

FINDING THE WAY

Of the Lord

This Advent season

This is so REWARDING=

This Scriptural passage

In desert culture

IF you lost your way=

You could LOSE YOUR LIFE

This Advent=This Christmas season

There is STILL TIME

To FIND OUR WAY

There is still time

To get on the RIGHT PATH

And follow the WAY OF THE LORD

FINDING THE WAY OF THE LORD

This Christmas season

Dear Lord=we PRAY=Help us

To follow your way

And RETURN to the path=the

RIGHT PATH whenever we stray

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our LEADING God the HOLY FATHER!
