ACCEPTING GOD'S WILL

Accepting GOD'S WILL is

One of the hardest things

To do=

Especially when we

DON'T UNDERSTAND IT=

Today we FOLLOW Mary

Who is our example

In FOLLOWING God's will

“The Holy Spirit

WILL come upon you

And the power of

The Most High

Will overshadow you” Luke 1:35

Today we HONOR MARY

And the feast of

The IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

How could she say YES

To God=to something

So improbable=SO IMPOSSIBLE=

But she did

How can we say yes

TO GOD=and to ACCEPTING

Our problems?

How can we FOLLOW

The way of God?

“I desire to do

YOUR WILL=my God=

Your law

Is within my heart” Psalm 40:8

“.......your kingdom come

YOUR WILL be done=

On earth-

As it is=in heaven........” Matthew 6:10

“For I have not hesitated

To proclaim to you-

The WHOLE WILL of God” Acts 20:27

We are experiencing

Moments of confusion=fear

And disorientation=

As the UNKNOWNS of life

Throw us about

Our Mother Mary

Sure did=but she came through

In the face of

HEARTBREAK and sorrow

We EXPERIENCE terrifying pandemics-

Job loss-Death of loved ones-

And all sorts of UNKNOWNS

In this world

Mary sure FACED the unknowns=

But she ACCEPTED IT

Despite her bewilderment=

She accepted=

The ANGEL'S reassuring words

She TRUSTED in God=when

Her life was in profound mystery=

The LEAST we can do

Is to TRY and do the same

Trying to=

And ACCEPTING GOD'S WILL

“ACCEPT one another=then

Just as Christ ACCEPTED YOU=

In order-

To bring praise to God” Romans 15:7

“Therefore get rid

Of all moral filth

And the evil

That is prevalent

AND HUMBLY ACCEPT the word

Planted in you

Which can save you” James 1:21

As we FACE our own

Doubts and fears

Let us ACCEPT

GOD'S WILL and the SCRIPTURE

Just as Mary did

Let us let God's SPIRIT=

FILL our hearts and minds

With a power=

GREATER than ourselves

As we ACCEPT GOD'S WILL

In the mysteries of life

In the names of Jesus=Mary=and our DIVINE LOVING FATHER
