EMBRACING THE CROSS OF CHRIST
(ALL SAINTS DAY)
Today we HONOR=all
The SAINTS of this world=
Both living and deceased
The ONES who have
Been canonized=and the ones
Who have=
NEVER been recognized
They all EMBRACED
The cross of Christ=
Just as we must do
In our lives=every day
“These are the ONES
Who have survived
The time=of GREAT DISTRESS
They have=washed their robes
And made them white
In the blood=od the LAMB”
Revelation 7:14
Celebrating and HONORING
All the SAINTS=in this world=
Those who have been recognized=
And those who have not
All the saints=of this world
Have at least
ONE thing in common
They have OVERCOME DISTRESS-
They have overcome challenges
BY UNITING
All of their suffering
In the life of=and in
THE CROSS OF CHRIST
WE can do that too
We may
Never be recognized
But we can be=SAINTS
So enjoy your day
This day=is for
ALL of the SAINTS=of this world
“In my DISTRESS-
I called to the Lord
And he answered me=
I cried=to my God
For help
From his temple-
He heard my voice
My cry= came before him
In to his ears” Psalm
18:6
“IN MY DISTRESS=
I called=to the Lord
And he answered me
From deep=in the realm
Of the dead
I cried for help
And you listened=to my cry” Jonah
2:2
What are your CROSSES
In this life?
Is it finances?=Is it debt?
Is it illness?
Maybe it is BETRAYAL
In a relationship
Whatever your crosses are=
EMBRACE THEM=Unite them
With the cross of Christ=
BE A SAINT!
“Religion that God
Our Father=accepts
As pure and faultless=is this=
To look after=
Orphans and widows=IN THEIR DISTRESS
And to keep oneself
From being polluted=by the world” James
1:27
We EMBRACE THE CROSS
OF CHRIST=and cling to God
The Holy Father
For hope=and eternal life
We TRUST God always
Dear Lord=we pray
That we can BECOME SAINTS
By our lives=by living
In your IMAGE=and UNITING with your life
In the names of OUR BROTHER Jesus=and our Holy Father God
(And all the SAINTS)!
