FOR A REASON

 

 

I live

For a reason

I love

For a reason

 

I eat

For a reason

I sleep

For a reason

Everything in my life

Is for a reason

 

It is a reason

That we live

It is a reason

That we die

And it is not always

Up to us

To know the reason why

 

The reason is God’s

And God’s alone

What is up to us

Is just to have faith

And follow the road

Wherever it leads

 

I live

For a reason

I love

For a reason

 

And when my time is up

And it is my time to die

The reason will be God’s alone

 

My whole life (and death)

Will be his reason (God’s)
