BE A FAITHFUL FOLLOWER

 

Jesus was true=

And a FAITHFUL FOLLOWER

To his=HOLY FATHER GOD!

 

OUR MISSION=is this

To be=the 21^st CENTURE FOLLOWERS

To him=in today’s world

 

“WHEN you come=

Bring the cloak I left

With Carpus in Troas=

 

The papyrus rolls-

And especially the parchments”                                                                            2 Timothy 4:13

 

Jesus FOLLOWED the Father=

And Paul-Jesus=he was

A great FOLLOWER of Jesus

And he was REAL=

BE A=FAITHFUL FOLLOWER

 

When we read the gospels=

When we READ the letters and greetings=

Warnings=and honest assessments of=Saint Paul

 

We get a GOOD IDEA

Of the faith it takes=

To BE a faithful follower=OF CHRIST

Especially in today’s world=that

CARES less and less=About God

 

Paul lets us KNOW=

Almost everyone has LEFT HIM

EXCEPT today’s Saint=Saint Luke

 

But Luke carries on=

To be a FAITHFUL FOLLOWER

To God and Christ=and to the gospel

 

We need to do this

We need to be FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS

In this modern day world

That we live in

BE A FAITHFUL FOLLOWER!

 

“Hear Israel=

The decrees and laws=I declare

In your hearing today

 

Learn them=and be sure

TO FOLLOW THEM”                                                                                                                      Deuteronomy 5:1

 

“FOLLOW the way=of love

And eagerly desire=gifts of the Spirit

Especially prophecy’’                                                                                                                     1 Corinthians 14:1

 

“FOLLOW GOD’S EXAMPLE=

Therefore as dearly loved children

 

And walk in the way

Of love=just as Christ loved us

And gave himself up

For us

 

As a fragrant offering

And sacrifice to God”                                                                                                       Ephesians 5:1

 

Sometimes we FEEL

If our lives were better=

We could follow the Lord

MORE FAITHFULLY

 

But we should be

FOLLOWING THE LORD

No matter what the CIRCUMSTANCES

Of our life are

BE A FAITHFUL FOLLOWER!

To God and Jesus

 

“Love the Lord

ALL HIS FAITHFUL PEOPLE”                                                                                          Psalm 31:23

 

Paul was a GREAT WITNESS

To Christ=in his day

It is UP TO US

To be their FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS

In today’s world

BE A FAITHFUL FOLLOWER!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of OUR EVER FAITHFUL=Holy Faithful God
