WELCOMING GOD=IN OUR FAITH
It is great=if
You are a good person=
It is GREAT=if you are
DOING good things
It MAKES a difference
But I do not=THINK that that alone
Is enough
To enter the KINGDOM OF GOD
DEEDS are not enough
We must have FAITH
In our God=
And faith in Jesus too
WELCOMING GOD=IN OUR FAITH
“WE have done=
What we were obliged to do”
Luke 17:10
Trust NOT in your own goodness
Trust in
THE GOODNESS of God
The SCRIPTURES today
Tell us not to=trust
In our own merits=or
How many compliments we receive
Jesus tells us today
That we should say=to ourselves
“We are unprofitable servants”
Just doing=what we should be doing
WELCOMING GOD=IN OUR FAITH
“Know therefore=that the Lord
Your God is God
He is the FAITHFUL GOD=
Keeping his covenant of love
To a thousand generations
Of those who love him-
And keep his commandments”
Deuteronomy 7:9
“Love the Lord-
ALL HIS FAITHFUL PEOPLE
The Lord preserves those
Who are true to him=
But the proud=he pays back
In full”
Psalm
31:23
What God OFFERS US
Is greater than anything
We could EVER FIND=by ourselves
Or on our own
God offers us
A SHARE of his
DIVINE NATURE of love
He offers us=A CHANCE
To be a part=of HIS INFINITE LOVE
WELCOMING GOD=IN OUR FAITH!
“His master replied’=
‘Well done=good and FAITHFUL SERVANT=
You have been FAITHFUL
With a few things
I will put you in charge
Of many things=come and share
In your master’s happiness’” Matthew
25:21
We should trust NOT
In ourselves=or
Our own limited goodness
We must trust IN GOD
And prove faithful to him
WELCOMING GOD=IN OUR FAITH!
We must FOCUS on
The pure gift of God=and
WELCOME HIM=IN OUR FAITH!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER LOVING and
FAITHFUL Holy Father God!
