WITH FULL CONVICTION=
Of our HEARTS
Jesus told us
That the Pharisees=
WERE FOOLISH
That they KEPT
Kept the commandments=on the outside
But on the INSIDE
They did NOT
Pay attention to God
“Oh you Pharisees!
Although you cleanse the outside
Of the cup=and the dish
INSIDE you are filled
With plunder and evil
YOU FOOLS!”
Luke 11:39-40
Sometimes I WONDER about
What he would say
About the people of today=
We might not get off
THAT EASY
MANY of us
Don’t even pay attention
On the outside
But if WE
Are true people of God
We love God=with our WHOLE BEING
We pay attention to God
On the outside=and inside
WITH FULL CONVICTION=of our HEARTS
“We have come
To share in Christ=if indeed
We hold our original CONVICTION
Firmly=to the very end”
Hebrews 3:14
Jesus said=The PHARISEES
Were foolish
Jesus says=we have to
GO BEYOND what the law requires
We have to=LOVE GOD FULLY
We have to
Love our neighbor=we have
To LIVE=with kindness=with forgiveness
And love
WITH THE FULL CONVICTION=
Of our HEARTS
We have to love
EVEN when loving HURTS=
We have to=love our enemies too!
And NOT TRY=to manipulate others
WITH THE FULL CONVICTION=
Of our hearts
“Trust in him=at all times
You people
POUR OUT YOUR HEARTS
To him-
For God is our refuge” Psalm
62:8
“This is the covenant
I will make
With the people of Israel
After that time
‘I will put my law
In their minds=and write it
ON THEIR HEARTS’” Jeremiah
31:33
BEING=a person of God
Means more than
Just FOLLOWING the laws
It requires
THE FULL CONVICTION
Of our hearts
From the INSIDE OUT
It requires=a DESIRE
For God’s grace=his love=
And for his holiness
In Jesus’ name=and in the HEART=of our ALWAYS LOVING=Holy
