THE WEALTH OF GOD

 

So many of us-

USE our lives

To build a wealth

OF FAME AND FORTUNE

 

But God tells us

We have

To be RICH IN LOVE

Rich in KINDNESSES=and rich

In the FORGIVENESS=of others

 

That is=true wealth

That is

THE WEALTH OF GOD!

 

“I shall say to myself=

‘Now…….you have

So many good things

STORED UP=for many years=

Rest-eat-drink-and BE MERRY’”                                                                                            Luke 12:19

 

Today we have

The parable of=THE RICH FOOL

 

Who HOARDS his wealth

Then dies that very night

With a=STORED UP TREASURE

 

He was wealthy

BY WORLDLY STANDARDS

But not BY God’s

 

A life is a PRECIOUS THING

And it is=THE GIFT OF God

THE WEALTH OF GOD

 

“Honor the Lord-

WITH YOUR WEALTH=

With the first fruits=Of all your crops”                                                                                     Proverbs 3:9

 

“At this-

The man’s face fell

 

He went away sad=

Because he had GREAT WEALTH”                                                                                    Mark 10:22

 

“Not long after that

The younger son=got together

All he had=

 

Set off for a distant country

And there-

SQUANDERED HIS WEALTH=in wild living”                                                                           Luke 15:13

 

This PANDEMIC-

And the last few years=

Has brought some TOUGH TIMES

For us all

 

It is a time=WHEN

At least for me=

When we reflected

ON THE REAL TREASURES=in life

 

Foe me=IT is God-

It is the FAMILY=and it is

Our VERY GOOD FRIENDS

It is life itself=at least it should be

That way

FOR ALL OF US

 

“Do NOT store up

For yourselves=TREASURES on earth

 

Where moths and vermin destroy

And where thieves-

Break in and steal”                                                                                                                          Matthew 6:19

 

IF you have life

You have=GOD’S greatest gift

And it is a BLESSING

 

When I was a teenager

My Father always said

“YOUR HEALTH=IS YOUR WEALTH”

 

Little did I know

How smart=that he was

 

LIFE=love= kindness=and forgiveness

Are the

True RICHES OF GOD

THE WEALTH OF GOD!

And I wish it=for you ALL

 

In Jesus’ name=and IN the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving=Holy Father God!
