ACTS OF FAITH!

 

ACTS OF FAITH!

 

Are you AWARE=that gratitude

For FAVORS=received and granted

Are =ACTS OF FAITH!

 

It is our DUTY=when our

Favors are granted=POSITIVELY=to get

Down on our knees=and say

“THANK YOU LORD”=that is=these are

Simply=ACTS OF FAITH!

 

“And ONE of them=realizing he

HAD BEEN HEALED=returned glorifying God

In a loud voice”                                                                                                                     Luke 17:15

 

When we=DON’T SAY THANK YOU=

When we=don’t show gratitude

To the Lord=FOR FAVORS RECEIVED=it is

A kind of faithlessness

 

Today =we have the story

Of the TEN LEPERS=once again=One returned

And glorified God=ACTS OF FAITH!

The other nine just took

The favor for granted

 

And isn’t that=what

SO MANY OF US DO=we

Don’t thank God-for our healthy LIVES=

We don’t thank God=for

Our financial BLESSINGS=we don’t thank God

For our BEAUTIFUL FAMILIES

 

ACTS OF FAITH!=I say

To our Lord=EVERY DAY

For these favors granted

 

“……..so that all people

May know=of your MIGHTY ACTS=

And the glorious splendor

Of your kingdom”                                                                                                         Psalm 145:12

 

“Praise him for=his

ACTS OF POWER=praise him

For his surpassing greatness”                                                                                      Psalm 150:2

 

“All of us=have become=

Like one who is unclean=and

ALL OUR RIGHTEOUS ACTS=are

Like filthy rags”                                                                                                                  Isaiah 64:6

 

Jesus told the ten=to go

And show themselves=to the priests

As required=by the law

 

And on the way=they realized

They were HEALED

 

But only the SAMARITAN=

Returned to give thanks=and

SHOWED GRATITUDE to Jesus=

ACTS OF FAITH!

 

“Enter his gate=WITH THANKSGIVING

And his courts with praise=GIVE THANKS

To him=and praise his name”                                                                                       Psalm 100:4

 

“BUT THANKS=be to God!=he

Gives us the victory

Through our Lord Jesus Christ”                                                                                 1 Corinthians 15:57

 

“THANKS be to God=for

His indescribable gift”                                                                                              2 Corinthians 9:15

 

Yes=we should ALL=ask ourselves

Like the tenth leper=in today’s gospel

“What can we BE THANK=Our HOLY FATHER GOD

And Jesus=for=in our lives today?”

 

I thank them=for ALL

These EXTRA YEARS OF LIFE=I thank

Them for=a roof over my head

And food on the table=NOT to mention

 

My two beautiful sisters=extended family and

Friends=and I thank our GOD=for

BEING KIND=LOVING and generous

What are you=THANKING GOD FOR TODAY?

ACTS OF FAITH!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING=forever living

Holy Father God!
