OUR WORK=IS NEVER DONE!

 

OUR WORK=IS NEVER DONE!

 

A lot of MOTHERS=are

Uncanonized SAINTS=their work

Is never done

 

Some mothers work FULL TIME JOBS

All day=then come home=to COOK=clean

And take CARE of their children=and their FAMILY

Their work=IS NEVER DONE

 

That is TRUE=for many of us too=IF

We are LIVING=the true CHRISTIAN LIFE

Doing what=we are SUPPOSED to be doing

OUR WORK=IS NEVER DONE!

 

“WE HAVE DONE=what

We were OBLIGED to do”                                                                                                         Luke 17:10

 

We may NEVER get credit=for

Doing what we are=supposed to do

AS A CHRISTIAN

 

LOVING=BEING KIND=FORGIVING

And living as a SERVANT

For God and others

 

But God=KNOWS OUR HEARTS=God

Knows we are WORKING=out of love

And WHEN=we are working out of love

OUR WORK=IS NEVER DONE!

I am SURE=most of you mothers

CAN identify with that

 

“And now Israel=what does the Lord

Your God=ask of you=but

 

To fear the Lord=Your God

To walk in obedience=for him=to love him

TO SERVE the Lord=Your God

With all your heart=and with

All your soul

 

And to observe the Lord’s commands

And decrees=that I am giving you today

For your own good?”                                                                                                              Deuteronomy 2:12

 

“But is=SERVING THE LORD

Seems undesirable to you…….but

As for me=and my household

We will=SERVE THE LORD”                                                                                         Joshua 2:15

 

That is the WAY=it was

Growing up in=OUR CHRISTIAN HOUSEHOLD

At 3400 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE=in

Pittsburgh, Pa.

 

And that is the way=it will BE

IN MY HEART=IN MY HOME

Wherever I live=for as long

As I live

OUR WORK=IS NEVER DONE!

 

God’s work=is never done

And if we are=SERVANTS OF GOD

We are right=BESIDE HIM=working

With our Holy Father God=and his SON JESUS

 

“A curse on anyone=who is lax

In =doing the LORD’S WORK”                                                                                                Jeremiah 48:10

 

“Whatever you do=WORK AT IT

With all your heart=as WORKING

For the Lord=Not for human masters”                                                                             Colossians 3:23

 

“God is not unjust=he

Will not forget=YOUR WORK

And the love=you have shown him

 

As you have helped=his people=

And continue to help them”                                                                                                       Hebrews 6:10

 

WHATEVER we do=as a parent=of

As a CHRISTIAN=we must do it

With loving hearts=for our Lord

And for ONE ANOTHER

 

For that is our CROSS=as a Christian

OUR WORK=IS NEVER DONE!

 

Offer up=whatever you do=for

THE greater good=of our LOVING

HOLY FATHER GOD=and his Son Jesus Christ

 

Reporting for duty=EVERY DAY=of our lives

In this world

OUR WORK=IS NEVER DONE!
