BECOMING LIKE HIM=WHO WE LOVE

 

 

THANK YOU ALL=for HANGING IN THERE FOR ME=

The reason for it ALL=is to become as much LIKE HIM=AS POSSIBLE!

LOVE YOU ALL!

 

 

 

BECOMING LIKE HIM!=

Who We Love

 

TODAY=we acknowledge that

Jesus is OUR KING=and that he is

Our King of the World=and he

IS OUR SHEPHERD

 

Our Jesus is our SHEPHERD=he

FINDS us when we are lost

He is=NOT just a HIRED HAND=he

Does not run=when TROUBLE COMES

 

He tends=and CARES FOR US

And he=INVITES US=to do that

For one another too

BECOMING LIKE HIM!=who we love

 

“The Lord is=MY SHEPHERD=I

Shall not want”                                                                                                                        Psalm 23:1

 

We find out=that Jesus’ kingship

Has=NOTHING to do with power=

Wealth=or lording things=over someone else

 

Long before Christ=the prophet Ezekiel

Told us=GOD’S KINGDOM=has to do

With his CARING FOR US=all of us

Taking CARE=of each one of us

Through the trials and troubles of life

Especially those of us

Who are most vulnerable

 

That is WHY=we should become

Like him!=who loves us=so we can

TAKE CARE OF OTHERS

 

“For this is what=

The Sovereign Lord says’=

I myself=will search=for MY SHEEP

And look after them”                                                                                                              Ezekiel 34:11

 

“AS A SHEPHERD=looks after

His scattered flock=when he is

With them=so will I=look after my sheep”                                                                          Ezekiel 34:12

 

“I WILL SEARCH=for the lost

And bring back=the strays=I will

 

Bind up the injured=and strengthen

The weak=but the sleek=and the strong

I will destroy

I WILL SHEPHERD=the flock with justice”                                                                           Ezekiel 34:16

 

AND in Matthew=Jesus tells us

That we too=can become GOOD SHEPHERDS

That we can=BECOME LIKE HIM!=by

LOVING like him

 

“When the Son of Man comes=

In his glory=and all the angels

With him=he will sit=on his

Glorious throne

 

ALL THE NATIONS=will be gathered

Before him=and he will SEPARATE the people

One from another=as a SHEPHERD separates

The sheep=from the goats

 

He will=put THE SHEEP=on his right

And the goats=on his left”                                                                                                         Matthew 25:31-33

 

I don’t know about you=but

I want to be=ONE of Christ’s sheep

When he comes=NOT a goat

 

But UNTIL that time comes=I will

Put all of my ENERGY=into

Being a shepherd=to be

BECOMING LIKE HIM!=Who we love

 

Dear Lord=You are our KING

Christ the KING=may you

And YOUR/OUR HOLY FATHER GOD=please

COME=and rule this world

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=FOREVER LOVING

Holy Father God!
