LOOKING FOR WISDOM= THROUGH QUESTIONS We are born as babies And we learn about life= As children-by ASKING questions Asking questions about this Asking questions about that We LEARN about life It is the SAME WAY In our life as CHRISTIANS We start out as BABY Christians And we learn by asking questions About the bible And about God and Jesus “I fed you milk-NOT solid food Because you were Unable to take it Indeed you are still not able Even now-for you Are STILL of the flesh” 1 Corinthians 3:2-3 We learn as we go In life And we learn as we go As Christians The ANSWERS that we find- We learn as we go We LEARN about ourselves And what we will do What we will not do And what we SHOULD DO And should not do LOOK for wisdom As we go-by ASKING- The tough questions-and- LEARNING as we go “I will PRAISE you With an upright heart As I LEARN Your righteous laws” Psalm 119:7 “Come to me ALL you who are weary And burdened And I will give you REST TAKE my yoke upon you And LEARN FROM ME For I am gentle And HUMBLE in heart And you will find rest For your souls For my yoke is easy And my burden is LIGHT” Matthew 11:28-30 “I will NOT say much More to you For the prince of this world Is coming He has NO HOLD over me But he comes So that the world MAY LEARN That I LOVE the Father And DO exactly what my Father Has commanded me” John 14:30-31 Jesus has the WISDOM-but But he ALWAYS makes the right decision For he was LIVING in the Spirit He was/he IS the SPIRIT But it's another thing To ASK all the right questions- And get the wisdom and not obey it MANY of us live in the flesh And NOT the Spirit Just as King Solomon did- WIDELY ACCLAIMED to be One of the smartest men To ever have lived SOMEDAY we will HAVE all the answers Or at least most of them Dear Lord-when we don't have The wisdom When we don't have The answers Let us be CONTENT To LIVE like Jesus FOLLOWING THE SPIRIT And NOT in the flesh Like King Solomon And many others in today's world In Jesus' name-WISDOM-and SPIRIT Robert P.
