‘Election Day” There has to be a winner And there has to be a loser It’s up to you to go out and choose her There’s so much at stake It’s up to the people to make their choice For their hopes and dreams lie in the balance So people stand up and come out Speak your voice To the winner we congratulate And we pledge our support to spur you on To the man that can lead us to the promised land Who can demonstrate the leadership that we surely need To be the best that we can be And who can handle the responsibility And to the loser we say Thank you for your effort You gave it all you had You stood up for your convictions And that’s all we can ask Sp people stand up and rejoice For the opportunity to live in a democracy And to stand up and speak your voice And we thank you God for that is all that we can ask 11/4/1980 Robert P.
