CULTIVATING GRATITUDE

CULTIVATING GRATITUDE

Gratitude or thankfulness is ONE
Of those EXPRESSIONS that
Doesn't come naturally= we have
To TRAIN ourselves to
FEEL GRATITUDE

To be thankful for everything
In our lives=including=
LIFE itself

“BLESS the Lord=
O my soul

And forget=
Not all his benefits” Psalm 103:2

Some of the LOWEST points
In my life=have been preceded
By times

When I was CONCENTRATING
On the BENEFITS
Of my life

And not FOCUSING on God=
The GIVER=of those benefits

Sometimes=when we are
Being SUCCESSFUL at life
We think we are the ONES
RESPONSIBLE for our success

When we REACT this way
And neglect God the GIVER
Of the benefits

We are
HEADED for a fall

“A gift
OPENS the way

And ushers the GIVER
Into the presence
Of the GREAT” Proverbs 18:16

“EACH of us
Should give

What you have
In your heart
To GIVE

Not reluctantly
Or with compulsion
For GOD LOVES
A CHEERFULGIVER” 2 Corinthians 9:7

Let us CULTIVATE GRATITUDE=
For God=at all times=
For he is ALWAYS
A cheerful giver

And he is the GIVER
Of ALL the benefits of life
At ALL TIMES!

CULTIVATING GRATITUDE!

We are supposed
To be CONTENT and celebrate=
When our lives
Are going well

But we should always REMEMBER
That the CORNERSTONE of
Our contentment
Should be GRATITUDE

We HONOR GOD
As the GIVER of all things
And praise him
For his generosity and MERCY
For all of us

Cultivating GRATITUDE=for God=
Who ALONE is the GIVER

“Let the MESSAGE of Christ
Dwell among you richly
As you TEACH
And admonish one another

With all wisdom
Through psalms=hymns
And songs from the SPIRIT

SINGING to God
With gratitude
In your hearts” Colossians 3:16

Let us be THANKFUL
To GOD at all times
As we JOURNEY through life

We can CULTIVATE GRATITUDE
Even during times of adversity=
Suffering=and disappointment

For when we CULTIVATE GRATITUDE
Our faith DEEPENS=and the BENEFITS
Of life=from God OUR GIVER=
Continues to abound

In the names of Jesus and HIS HEAVENLY FATHER
