IN GOD'S GOOD TIME

IN GOD'S GOOD TIME


GOOD things happen in
This world=if we
But WAIT


A great person once said=
“PATIENCE is a virtue”
And indeed it is


GOOD THINGS happen to us
In life=if we WAIT for it
To happen=IN GOD'S GOOD TIME


“But his servants came up
And REASONED with him”


'My father'=they said=
'IF the prophet
Had told you to do
Something EXTRAORDINARY


Would you not have done it?
ALL the more now


Since he said to you=
'WASH and be clean'
Should you do
As he said” 2 Kings 5:13


Today we READ about the ARAMEAN
KING'S army commander
Who contracted leprosy


And traveled two kingdoms
To SEEK A CURE
From Israel's prophet=Elijah


We ALL want what
We want in this world
And we want it
RIGHT OF WAY


We wait for CURES
That seems like they never come


But we get what we
NEED from God
And we get it
IN God's GOOD TIME


“There is a TIME
For everything


And a season
For every activity
UNDER the heavens” Ecclesiastes 3:1


“SOW RIGHTEOUSNESS for yourselves
Reap the fruit
Of UNFAILING LOVE


And break up
Your unplowed ground


For it is TIME
To SEEK the Lord


Until he comes
And SHOWERS his righteousness
On you” Hosea 10:12


Man WANTS what he wants
Right now=he is NOT PATIENT


But a 1,000 years is
A day=IN GOD'S KINGDOM


Lent REMINDS us=
That God's way=most of the time=
Is NOT flashy or instantaneous


We have to WAIT ON God
To be HEALED and CURED=
In God's ways and IN GOD'S TIME


WAITING on God for the
CURE and the HEALING
That one day will SURELY COME


“WAIT for the Lord
Be strong=and take heart=


And WAIT for the LORD” Psalm 27:14

While we WAIT
For the BLESSED HOPE--------


The APPEARING of the GLORY
Of our great Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ


Who gave himself to us
To REDEEM US.................” Titus 2:13


Dear Lord=we WAIT for you
For AS LONG as it takes


For we KNOW that you love us
And ALL the GOOD THINGS of life
WILL BE OURS=


IN GOD'S GOOD TIME
