NOT FOR SALE

NOT FOR SALE


We LIVE in a world
WHERE almost everything
Is for SALE


And we all LIKE to
Get a GOOD BARGAIN
From time to time


But Jesus was APPALLED
To FIND market places in
His churches and temples


And so am I


Some things just shouldn't be
For SALE=and anything spiritual
I put in that category


NOT FOR SALE!


“Take these out of here=
And STOP making my
FATHER'S HOUSE a marketplace” John 2:16


I understand that people=that vendors
NEED to make a living=but we
Have to REMEMBER


That there is a TIME
And a PLACE
For everything


Some things just=shouldn't
Be for sale=and among them
ARE the word of God=and PRAYERS


I FEEL that way=Jesus
Felt that way=and Saint Paul
FELT THAT WAY


“Unlike so MANY
We do NOT
PEDDLE the word of God
For profit


On the contrary=IN CHRIST
We speak before God
With SINCERITY


As those SENT FROM GOD” 2 Corinthians 2:17


The WORD of God=is=
NOT FOR SALE!


Some days we NEED=we want
Only a SPIRITUAL WALK
With thoughts and prayers
About Jesus


About the DIVINE=about love=
About mercy=and about SALVATION


Let us KEEP
Our WALK with God
Out of the marketplace


Let us keep our DIVINE WALK
Only with God=
Only with Jesus


“I will walk
About in FREEDOM


For I have
SOUGHT out your precepts” Psalm 119:45


“When you WALK
They will GUIDE YOU


When you sleep
They will watch
Over you


When you wake
They will SPEAK to you” Proverbs 6:22


It reminds me that
There is an age-old tension
BETWEEN the material and the spiritual


Between the earthly
And the ETERNAL


Between the marketplace
And the HOUSE
Of the Father


Let us ALWAYS REMEMBER that
The marketplace does not
Belong in the FATHER'S house


And that the WORD of God
Is NEVER FOR SALE


In life=the BEST bargains=
The ONLY real and TRUE bargains
Are SPIRITUAL ONES


And they are NOT FOR SALE


In the names of Jesus and HIS MOST HEAVENLY FATHER
